I have basically one thing to say about Lincoln Center Kitchen: BACON BLUE MAC + CHEESE.
There are few better ways to curb your appetite before a concert at the Geffen Theatre than a large portion of pasta drenched in cheese, bread crumbs, bacon and gobs of blue cheese. ($8)
Add in The Manhattanite (bulleit bourbon. martini. gran lusso. mole bitters) and you're all set!
Warning: don't come hungry or expecting a deal. It's not that kind of place. The Chicken Liver Mouse is quite good…but they don't serve enough bread to put it on – and good luck getting MORE bread!
Pretty lackluster, but if you need a place to eat before a show at Lincoln Center, this is a sure fire bet to be available. Food quality is good. Variety is lacking. Service was awkward. Server with French sounding accent came with smug attitude …fantastic… presentation looked similar to all the photos on there just with no enthusiasm. By that I mean things were just thrown on halfway or weren't impressive. It's just not a place to impress anyone. It's just a place to eat before the show that's pretty overpriced for what it is. Why three stars? Because it wont kill you, and it has reservations available a day before a large show. So a good fallback when all other options fail.
