Pizza in the Bronx for lunch was okay. I spent the morning contemplating when suddenly a co-worker inquired about going for a short drive for pizza. Despite never having Little Caesars as I am accustomed to local pizza shops, I came with an open mind. Little Caesars is franchise and independently owned and operated. The pizza taste fresh despite the appearance of mass produced. It was not sliced all the way through as I have to pry it apart with my bear hands. The portion was plentiful as I usually eat less for lunch. We both ordered the lunch combo special of $5.00 each which includes one carbonated soft drink. MEH, I never like soda or carbon hydrated drinks. (Former NYC Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg would be proud of my healthy non-sugary drink intake). There were no substitute for bottled water or juice– I can even stomach ginger ale, but none were an option. The server was polite and courteous. The interior enables minimal seating and is very worn, dark and dingy. No restroom facilities on site. Place your order to go and then RUN!
