Came in here for the first time Saturday- and the line was literally out the door. They have a really nice selection of cupcakes, brownies, bars, mini cheesecakes and to my utter delight- banana pudding =0)
I purchased 4 different flavors of cupcakes, a brownie with walnuts, a smores bar, mini cookies and cream cheesecake, a mini peanut butter pie and a banana pudding (of course). The total was $33, which isn't bad at all. The banana pudding was the only thing I got the chance to taste (the rest of the goodies I brought to a party and everyone enjoyed them) and it was absolutely amazing! I would love to go back and sample a few more of their treats and I definitely will!
Love this place. They have the best nutella coffe if you are nursing a hangover. The lucky charm rice krispy treat is also a personal favorite. A little overpriced but I still go back for more so they're doing something right.
I love this cupcake shop. They usually have seating available and their cupcakes and iced coffee are delicious. Their desserts are large enough to make you feel full, but small enough that you don't feel like you overate. I've tried most of their cupcakes throughout the years, and really recommend the red velvet and any of the cupcakes with caramel in them.
Been here many times since that first time and, sadly, I've been finding the products getting uncomfortably sweeter and changes made to cakes that are not helping them. I loved the Mott St. as a cupcake. They changed that and made it a full sized cake, but now the cake is dry when it used to be moist and the frosting was way sweeter than it used to be. The S'mores bar was also cloyingly sweet. My favorite cake was their German Chocolate. I'm going to have to see how that one is doing.
I would rate little bake shop three and a half stars.
I was unimpressed with the brownie I had. I found it dry and lacking richness. My girlfriend ordered the smores bar which was much better. It had the richness and sweetness I was longing for.
The bake shop is open late. I appreciate that the service remains friendly and patient despite being open late.
Much like the soho cafe, this cute replicate nestled in bay ridge has the similar white theme and baked goods as the OG. Similar prices, a smaller selection, and coffee by illy.
Their desserts have always been on the sweeter side but it's nice that they have the option of heating up your goods if you'd like.
So where to start ? Ok , i found this spot several years ago by accident while heading to my uncle&aunts house for a holiday visit . As soon as i walked in i knew it was gonna be hard to leave because its exactly what a little bakery/cafe should be , to the left were all the baked goods and to the right were the little cafe tables (about 8-10) and towards the back were the coffee and espresso machines . So of course i couldnt decide between all the amazing cup cakes ( red velvet, blue velvet, peanut butter and jelly, brooklyn chocolate and a few more that i cant remember) then theres the ginormous cakes lined up on too if the cup cakes ( princess dream ,red velvet, coconut, carrot cake and a bunch more) also they have an amazing rice pudding and Banana pudding packed with tons of banana slices and Nila wafers . First time around i picked up a large banana pudding which thank god i bought 2 large bowls because everyone loved it and i was barely able to get a few spoons and also picked up a variety of cup cakes and slices of cakes ( there's no way 1 person can finish a slice ) their huge slices. Prices a re very fair and the portions are great , just like all quality places you get what you pay for and then some with this bakery. They use illy coffee & espresso which is one of my favs so it was love at first sight for this foodie and coffee addict, if you've never tried this bakery before you have to bookmark and try them out ASAP . Its ok you can thank me after licking your fingers lol , enjoy
Seriously , $3.75 for a fucking specialty cupcake that's basically 1 bite is a RIP- off. And they don't even post it on the bored. So you're under the assumption ALL cupcakes are $3, which is also steep for a single bite. I mean their coffee is good and sweets, but the prices for their cupcakes are a joke. Won't be going back for anymore cupcakes that's for sure. Sorry.
