Little Italy Pizza
“Practically always open at any time, this place is located about 1 minute away from Union square.”
“LI3 is, too, a late night place at which attractive, and unattractive, women roam wild.”
“There's just something about their crust that makes it so crispy and buttery and way better than Joe's. Also, the $5ish combo for 2 plain + drink is just the best bargain I can found in the area.”

Alright. Definitely better if you come here drunk as opposed to completed sober. Cheap food but not remarkable or anything.
I love pizza.
LOVE.
I have a pizza tattoo on my arm.
I like all pizza. I'm not picky.
.. or so I thought, until I came here.
The pizza looks extremely old. Even when heated up, the cheese still looked stale and hard.
There was this weird powdery cornflake stuff all on the bottom of the slice.
It was also oddly sweet????? Like, the sauce. Ew?
It was gross.
Now I feel sick.
My friend also didn't like it.
This is the worst pizza I've ever had. My hot pocket from last night better.
Out of all the cheap pizza spots in NYC, this one is my favorite. Even though Joe's is famous or whatever, this place has way better crust and topping options in my opinion. The spinach ricotta is my favorite. Sometimes there are unsavory characters here though, so I wouldn't go late unless accompanied by a friend.
3.5**
Delivery sucked – he came with a cart and refused to carry it down the stairs without the cart.
The crust was very interesting; I'm not sure if it was on purpose as a cool twist to a regular crust but it was definitely different. The crust had tiny crunchy pieces and it didn't taste like a regular oven pizza since it leaned toward the chewy side. I had the spinach pizza and the assorted veggie pizza. I loved the spinach pizza and not so much of the veggie pizza. The veggie pizza was full of vegetables, which is always great, but the balance with the sauce and cheese was off. The spinach pizza was spot on though; the crust was chewy and crispy, the base of the cheese with the spots of cheese and spinach synced perfectly. I think the spinach pie would still taste good cold.
Overpriced for what you get, but not bad pizza. Got a slice of pepperoni and it cost me $3.50. Better be a top notch slice. It wasn't, but like I said, it wasn't bad. It was greasy, the sauce was runny, overall everything was salty which I like. They spend a lot of time on their dough, rolling it onto corn meal or whatever to give it extra texture, but it still doesn't justify the cost. Probably costs that much because it's so near Union Square. Good for a quick snack.

Four Stars
There were plenty of pies on the display. I decided on the Tomato with fresh Mozzarella. It costed $3.50 and took a bit longer than other slices to heat but it was worth it. The thin crust was crunchy. The sauce was flavorful. The cheese slid off. The tomatoes were fresh and delicious.
Great Little casual pizza place by union square with good pizza, great service. Service was quick and friendly. Extra star for honest employees: I brought my son and his friend here for a quick slice of pizza … My son left his brand new coat there; they picked it up and saved it for us during a busy time and held onto it for 2 days. In union square area NYC, how great is that.
My son doesn't really like pizza lately but he ate his full plain slice the first visit and asked for another when we returned to pick up his coat. I had a veggie slice the first time and a tomato mozzarella slice the second- both good and w a crispy crust.
The seating is limited, so it's good for a quick slice on the go or you're ok sitting w others. I told my son to sit at a vacant table while I ordered the pizza and when I brought the pizza to the table he was sitting across from a guy. I thought my son sat at the mans table and apologized to him for my son intruding… asked if he wanted them to move– only to find out after the man left it was he who sat down directly across from my son ha . Oops. Not spacious but again good for a quick slice on the go.
And honest employees who take care of my sons coat – I will definitely go back just for that – even if I have to stand 😀
The guy was extremely rude. I asked him to change his gloves and he told me "I don't change my gloves for no body." I explained to him I don't eat pork and he just touched pepperoni he said if I didn't like it I could leave. I asked for his name he didn't give it. This is the rudest person I have ever met
