I've been to Little Kitchen twice–both times on the way up to Lake George–and hope to come back soon. Well, actually to Little Kitchen AND Lake George.
Anyway, Little Kitchen is primarily a Chinese take-out place but has prompt table service as well, should you decide to eat there. I highly recommend the egg drop soup, which comes with caramelized onions on top, and the chicken with string beans in a ginger sauce. The food is fresh and flavorful, and the restaurant itself is kept clean and orderly. I would definitely recommend it if you are in the area.
solid takeout Chinese food in the infamous Village of Mamaroneck.
yeah, it was something like a thousand degrees outside and we all got soup with our lunch specials. it's part of benchmark testing for Chinese takeout, WEATHER BE DAMNED!
wonton soup was decent. broth was a little weak and not very flavorful, but the dumplings themselves were great.
Kung Pao chicken was spicy, but could've used some more heat. on the other hand, it had lots of water chestnuts, which I like, and it had plenty of chicken. also, instead of just throwing food onto your plate, they do some pretty sweet artistic presentations.
cleaner than your average Chinese takeout and the food was not greasy like you find at random hole-in-the-wall takeout joints. for that, I'm swinging this up to 4 stars (3.5 is probably more accurate, to be honest).
Little Kitchen is okay. I wanted to try them out and Not the greatest food. I did enjoy there sesame chicken that was good. Honestly I would recommend going to another Chinese restaurant. I've had better around mamaroneck. If you want to try something new I would recommend going but not sure if you'd make it your to go spot
