I didn't know Lollipops even existed until 2010, seeing it from the Bx16 bus.
So of course you know my reaction was "OMFGICECREAMOMGYESPLZBUYMESOMENOW"
I've been once or twice but I finally decided to review it after visiting this past sweltering Friday.
Lollipops is not your typical ice cream shop. While there are regular flavors, it's much more interesting to explore the varied Jamaican flavors. I was a bit of a wuss and tried the lemon raspberry gelato (very refreshing!), but I'm intrigued by the other flavors. Honestly, a lot of them are items I've never heard of. I don't know what sorrel is, what does it taste like?
All in all, Lollipops is a cute small shop in an area that is totally devoid of pretty much any retail. It's mostly residential.
Brotip: They open at 4 PM most days! I think they open at 2 PM on weekends.
