  1. Momordico green tea was not good. It's bitter and bland. I don't know what the one reviewer meant when he said it's naturally sweet.

  2. Excellent coffee!! So glad I stopped in this small coffee shop on 29th. I got a soy latte it tasted great. Smooth espresso with just the right amount of soymilk for creaminess. Did not need any additional sugar.

Average price, quick service. Small variety of pastries if you want a snack with your coffee.

  3. This is such an amazing coffee shop located right near my work. The workers who work here are one of the most friendliest workers I've ever encountered in a coffee shop, and they make my morning when I stop in for my iced coffee or regular coffee. You definitely get what you pay for, even though it is a little expensive, and there's many coffee places around, but the attitude makes this a top notch place to come.

  4. Stumbled upon Luna after my cardiokickboxing a few blocks away.  What really attracted me was their funny signs outside.  I got a medium iced latte for $4 which was very good! I would definitely come back here.

Good service, very attentive and friendly.

It is a small location, but cozy.  I would ideally want to come back here to read a book, catch up with a friend, or go for a nice coffee break.

  5. Small space for coffee, pastries and cheese sandwiches. The cold prepacked  sandwiches aren't that great though- expensive and not very good. It was near our hotel so more out of comfort than choice. The tomato soup with the grilled cheese was very good. The chocolate croissant was ok.

  6. I don't get the fantastic reviews. I came into this cafe expecting a caffeine fix of greatness. The space itself is one of those one room cute Manhattan-esque cafes. Doesn't seem too cramped overall when you're inside. I glazed over the edibles which included homemade loaves of banana and other flavored breads, pre-packaged sandwiches which don't look worth the moola. I didn't pick any of that (yay self control!)

I chose to make myself a matcha soy latte with a shot of espresso and the barister judged me for my choice, stating "i don't know how that's going to taste". Hey! I order this drink all over town and I haven't gotten judged negatively before this. Maybe he knew he wasn't going to give me a good tasting drink and was prepping me for disappointment. I know matcha is bitter and combined with bitter espresso you can have double the bite but I am used to this situation.

Needless to say I took a few sips and left this in my fridge. Not very good a day later either, most of it ended up down my drain.

I hope they make regular espresso drinks actually taste good! Seems like they can based on the previous reviews.

  7. Stumbled into this little cafe on my way to a yoga class in an area I rarely walk through. Tried a yummy sage infused coffee.

  8. Aw man. I was absolutely hyped when I found this on Yelp, because it looked like everything I could have wanted. It fell a bit short in the end though.

The order was a pomegranate green tea, an apple turnover, and the solid wi-fi I'd heard so much about. Staff was pleasant and polite, and my order was out in great time – an auspicious beginning, especially for relatively decent prices.

Now honestly, I would probably make the trip back for this pomegranate green tea alone. Cool perfection, truly; not over sweetened as many other places make it. Great.

Apple turnover was only middling though, it tasted like it would have been really great yesterday, but like it had been left to wait for me overnight. Or, maybe it was just really dry.

The other problem was that the free wi-fi that I had actually chosen the place for didn't seem to work consistently for either of my devices – and part of what I do for a living is patching up wi-fi connections, so I'm pretty sure the issue isn't on my end.

Anyway, come for the beverages, not the wi-fi.
