Lunchbox Cafe Brooklyn
“I had the Richardson with the roast beef, avocado, apples, and other things on the ciabatta bread.”
“However, it's not on any of the three major delivery websites and it's on a relative sleepy block of Norman Ave., so that's a shame.”
“Just moved to the neighborhood, and working from home.”

Amazing fresh juices medium for $4.50 … I get the Staffs choice ones once a week … the beet juice makes me feel amazing! The salads and sandwiches are great too . Staff is friendly. Great spot to pop in and grab something to go! I had a weird experience with delivery and not somewhere I stop and eat besides maybe super casually and if it's nice outside I'll sit at their little outdoor table .. My favorite grab and go in the neighborhood !
This place has no AC in the summer ):
I like getting juices from here in the morning sometimes if I don't have to make my own.. But I don't recommend anything with beets.. For some reason there beets are nasty! I have check on many occasions and its proven to me.
The place is great– staff is nice they have great juices
I rarely find myself in Greenpoint and when I needed a bite after a day of dogsitting in the area, my client told me to check out Lunchbox if all I wanted was a sandwich.
Conveniently located by the Nassau Ave Station (G train) is this cute place. It looks like a fancier bodega with old school lunchboxes lining the walls. The front is full of goodies from drinks to pastries to coffee beans by the pound while the back has some seating. This seems like the place to go to get work done quietly – there were quite a few people with their laptops plugged in. The seating area also has a magazine rack, which I personally like. I love reading a magazine while eating something appetizing.
Their sandwich menu is extensive and impressive. I had a really hard time choosing! I went with the Fox – Buffalo Chicken, Mozzarella, Roasted Red Peppers, Artichoke Hearts, Olive Oil, Balsamic Vinegar and Sea Salt on a pressed hero. It was a delectable sandwich!
This will be my go-to spot in Greenpoint and I just might have the Fox again.
