I felt like an intruder when we walked into this locals only Portuguese sports bar/ restaurant. Reluctant, we took a seat in their cigarette smoke choked outdoor patio. I liked what I saw on the menu; they had one of my favorite Portuguese dishes, coelho estofado. Of course, since I wanted it, they didn't have it. Tried ordering the lamb stew and they didn't have it either. If you're going to advertise something and not have it, in my eyes, is false advertising and that's gets me extremely angry. Ordered something else that I wasn't in the mood for, the roast chicken in white wine sauce. Then there's the wait. Nearly an hour later our food comes out and, let's just say, wasn't worth the long wait. The white wine sauce tasted a bit like Frank's Red Hot (you know, "I put that s–t on everything!" sauce). The clams and pork, though fresh, lacked any of the bold flavors I associate with Portuguese cuisine. I miss Lisbon is all I can say about this place. Prices are also a lot higher than what you'd pay in Euros for a meal in Lisbon. If you're coming here for some beers or to hangout and smoke, this place is fine. Otherwise, go next door to Heart of Portugal for a just as expense but much better meal.
