  1. Delicious beef, pork, or chicken jerky. There's so many variety and she even lets you sample a slice before you buy it. It has great flavor and it's even better spicy. You have to stop by here and try it!

  2. Always a fan of their jerky. It's so fresh and delicious. Although it is on the pricier side, it's worth it. They go by the pound. You can't buy just purchase one slice.

  3. Honestly I don't know what this stuff is but god damn its addicting like crack. Its not quite jerky, more like a hybrid between jerky and carne asada. And I don't think its dried. Its pounded thin and then smoked on a grill in house.

The place is tiny, maybe 200 square feet. Three people work there. One lady smokes the meat on an open grill in the window while two guys work the counter.

The stuff comes in a few flavors, spicy pork, spicy beef, reg pork, reg beef, teriyaki, and a few others. It goes for $5.00-5.25/quarter lb.

I will update this review after I visit again and form more opinions about the place but at face value I love it and will definitely be visiting again.

  4. This is my Chinatown childhood. I would get a pound of these tender pork jerky babies in their greasy, paper bag (which they now put into a plastic bag!)

A pound is $20, so gauge accordingly. Order in small quantities, as there is no discount for larger orders. I like these pork and spicy pork a lot more than the beef (which tends to be drier).

Cash only! Don't let their appearance fool you – it's the real deal. And they normally close at 8pm (not listed on Yelp; also I tried calling their number for hours and had an angry Chinese woman scream at me. Juuuust FYI.)

  5. this is the first time ive ever been here. its a small shop with many types of jerky ranging from beef, chicken, pork, sweet or spicy.

my bf brought me here bc we needed some snacks for our trip to disney world in a week and we live jerky in general. we usually buy the ones in the supermarkets prepackaged but since ive never had this place, he suggested that we try fresh jerky.

omg the smell that it gives off once you walk into this little store is SO AMAZING!!!
    most of their items for 1lb it's $20, 1/2 lb is $10 and 1/4 lb is $5.
    so its proportional pricing.

we ordered $42 worth of jerky. mostly 1/2 each.
it's real meat cause once we got home and took out 1 piece each, our cats immediately wanted some.

test if meat is real = your animals beg for some. lol
we'll be back for more because i dont know if it'll last 1 week prior to our trip + bring some on our trip. lol 🙂

  6. Cash only! The beef jerky here is delicious – definitely worth trying.  They have regular beef jerky, spicy beef jerky, chicken jerky, pork jerky, and a few others.  One pound runs around $20, depending on which kind you get.  The meats are very flavorful.  My favorite is the spicy beef jerky, which has just the right amount of flavor, but not overly spicy.  The jerky isn't as tough as I've had it at some of the other places.

  7. Who knew that there was a little bit of Malaysia tucked away in the NYC Chinatown! I've been wondering ever since I came back from visiting Kuala Lumpur last summer when I'm ever going to have those delicious pieces of fried pork/beef jerky again. So glad that I stumbled upon this place! It's the real deal. The spicy pork jerky I got tasted exactly like the one I brought home from Malaysia (salty and savory with a spicy kick) and cost around the same amount (if not a little cheaper)!

For those who've never had Malaysian jerky: it's worlds apart from American beef jerky! It's much more tender and flavorful. Must try!

  8. If you're wandering out and about in Chinatown and need a quickie snack fix, go try some spicy pork/beef jerky from this place. Everything here is handmade annnnnnd literally, every type of jerky is tasty.

The shop itself is fairly small and a great thing about is: you are allowed to ask for samples of the jerky. My suggestion: Sample away and buy the one you like the most. These jerky pieces makes a great snack and can last for awhile. I personally tried most of the flavors and really like the spicy pork. It wasn't too spicy but it had enough zing to maintain its strong flavor and it's a little bit on the sweet side too! Highly recommend trying out this flavor. Also, do note that this isn't your traditional jerky where it's tough to chew and super dried out. Here, the jerky is more on the moist side without it being too oily and it's soft and chewy like to eat. It's a nice change in pace when eating this new type of jerky.

This place is cash only and you can buy the jerky in quantities of 1/4lb, 1/2lb, and 1lb. This is definitely worth your money and time should you choose to stop by.
