I go here every Saturday for the past 1.5 years. My family must have bagels on a Saturday, must be my Semitic influence. The food is great. Bagels and muffins are fresh. Friendly staff. Rarely do the foul up my order. It's definitely a locals join. They seem to be on a first name basis with all their customers which I find fascinating. They love Jackson. He rearranges their candy display for them, and makes sure all of the bags of chips get touched. He also ensures the the cold air get removed from their grab and go cooler by squishing his face between the clear plastic curtain planks. Great business great food. They deserve their success.
Malverne Deli is perfect for your breakfast sandwiches and your morning coffee. An old school Deli in the heart of village of Malverne, next to the famous Malverne Bakery. Love a good bacon egg and cheese on a roll and a small coffee. Some places have salads that are more to my taste, but that does not mean that I think Malverne is any lesser a shop.
They have the best pasta salads. The shrimp salad here is definitely the best I've ever had.
