  1. Tues/Thurs 11am-3pm Mount Sinai!

    I love Mamu!

    KUA GAI! Get it.

Pad see ew is AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thai iced tea is on the sweet side, which I prefer over bitter.

  2. Great pad thai for a lunch break. It comes in a black tray with a translucent plastic lid, with red pepper sprinkles and peanut garnish each in tiny cups.

  3. I don't know what's up with these food trucks. The lines are ridiculously long, and the service is pretty slow and disorganized. I think it's probably because I visited them while at the AfroPunk Festival. But aren't they supposed to be prepared for large crowds? The large crowds should've gave them more of a reason to be organized.

I waited on line for 10-15 minutes before I finally ordered my $10 chicken pad thai. After I ordered I was waiting about 20-25 minutes for the actual plate. It was pretty sad. Orders were definitely out of place because people were getting their food before myself and another woman, although we were waiting longer than them. When I asked the staff about my order, they apologized for the mix up. The cashier even had to stop taking orders to help the cooks get the food out to people who already ordered. My chicken pad thai finally came out and it was yummy. The crushed peanuts and thai chili peppers were set aside as optional topping, so I was able to sprinkle extra peanuts on top (YAY). There were also packets of sriracha on the side. Oh how I love sriracha, best hot sauce ever =D. Yes, my chicken pad thai was tasty and the portion was perfect, but it was nothing i haven't already had. I wanted to try the curry puffs, but unfortunately they didn't have any ready to order (boooo).

I would probably come back to this truck if I had a ridiculous, out-of-control craving for pad thai and there were no other options left.

  4. Pretty decent pad thai, albeit a tad overpriced at $10 for chicken or tofu (add $1 for shrimp). Menu only has 3 items: pad thai, pad view, and drunken noodles. Drink options are canned soda, bottle water, and thai iced tea (which sold out very quickly).

The truck is here every Wednesday at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Today they sold out at 2:30pm, I was lucky I got something just in time because lots of people got turned away! Not sure if I'll be back.

  5. We could smell the food a block away and it drew us in.. Drunken noodles with chicken was our choice and it was very good.  Easy and quick to order and receive. Takes credit cards or cash.  Steps away from the Brooklyn Bridge park.

  6. Parked next to TKTS South Street Seaport, I decided to try this food truck out at the recommendation of one of my friends. The price was a little pricier than what I am used to for Thai food, but on par with most food trucks. Ordered the tofu see ew. The food came out quickly since there was no line. Loved the wide noodles and sauce. Chinese broccoli wasn't overcooked, and the tofu was a little charred (in a tasty way!). All in all a good meal 🙂
