The only thing I have had here is the almond croissant, and it's probably the only thing I'll ever have, because it's just that good, and I can't justify more calories on top of it to try anything in addition to it.
No bathrooms for customers. That's the first blow against a cafe that serves coffee and pastries. No internet.
Cute but impossible to find – because the entrance isn't anywhere close to Broadway and 73rd (the cross-streets). It's 100 blocks west on 73rd cleverly disguised as a hole in the wall.
Nice place for people in the know who don't need Internet or a bathroom, I suppose…
I come here almost every Saturday after class for coffee and a croisssant. Their almond croissants are bad-ass!!! Can I say that on Yelp?
We used to live right around the corner. Every morning I would come to get coffee, some of the best in the city, and an apple turnover. Flaky dough, sweet apple filing, but not too sweet. I miss it! 🙁
