  1. I am giving it 3 stars because of the vibe i got from the employees. I went with 3 of my girlfriends on Saturday for a coffee and we had never been here so had questions about the items being sold etc. The employees were not friendly and had a dead personality while we asked questions and tried to figure out what we wanted. I understand that we were confused at the menu and were giggly, but it's kind of their job to make us feel welcomed and try their product. One employee helped 2 of us and the other employee helped the other two then took over and tried to charge everyone even though some of us had already paid.

I really enjoyed my mango green tea, but i wont go back because it seems like the employees didnt want to be bothered, nevermind gain new customers.

  2. **CASH ONLY**

They still have great croissants & scones. They are open 365 days a year and the guy (sorry I didn't catch his name!) I was talking to tries to make it in even during natural disasters. That's true dedication and for that, you guys definitely deserve a 5 star in my book. & thank you for not making my chai latte burning hot.

  3. I really want to like this place, but I have given it a go twice now and have been left with a mediocre feeling both times. The good are the variety of coffees, pastries, and prices, maybe even a little too much. Their oatmeal however, is fantastic. They also have alternative milk choices such as almond milk if you have challenges with lactose or are on a clean eating/paleo diet. However, their coffee, which is the main reason they exist, is very blah. In fact, I've gotten more flavor from a k-cup (gasp I said it). If asked to compare their regular coffee to a more well known chain, I'd have to say its like a light Dunkin roast and add a little water. Even their mocha was more along the lines of sweet chocolate sauce in an average cup of coffee. They also dont have those little inserts that you can put in your coffee to stop the spillage from the top. That makes me sad. Overall, if marooned on an island (see what I did there), I'd still drink their coffee, but if I had a choice to go to another shop, you bet I'd jump in my canoe and head over there.

  4. Came here once a year ago. Remember the coffee being excellent and love the decor inside and out! Friendly service and a beautiful outdoor patio!!  Look forwards to going again soon.

  5. Came here before the Italian Festival to get a jolt of energy.  I was not disappointed, probably the best iced coffee I have had outside of chain coffee houses. 🙂

We also had the chocolate scone which was very rich and delicious (probably spiked my sugar, but was worth it.)

The prices are very reasonable.  It is a tiny shop that is cash only but was not crowded and we were served right away.

If I lived closer I could see myself coming here quite often on a Sunday morning to read my newspaper.

  6. Stopped in here the other day.

Really nice little place with a cool vibe and comfy space.

Wide selection of varied croissants and sandwiches.

    Really good cappuccino.

Such a nice oasis and change from Starbucks.  Enjoyed it.  Will be back.

  7. Stopped by late Sunday morning. Getting closer to the shop, I thought they were closed because there were all these signs taped on the window. Turns out they were signs about the food – kind of confusing. The menu can be overwhelming – cup of water, empty cup etc are extra fees FYI. I got a large coffee with skim milk – they were out of soy. The coffee was SUPER hot. I also got a pumpkin muffin which was delicious. Friend got yogurt. Granola was added at the counter. The shop gets a ton of light – too much in my opinion.

I think prices are really reasonable. Cash only.

P.S. The guy working the counter was coughing a little too much. Later that night both of us had itchy throats – one was worse than the other. (Deducted one star for this!)

  8. I came here because I really wanted the Twix Latte in the yelp pics but was saddened to see its not on the menu anymore. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find a Tiramisu Latte and very much enjoyed it. The espresso was strong and not bitter at all, perfectly created.

This coffee bar is a quick place to run in and grab a cup, it's got limited seating, and parking is a huge challenge (yay to double-parked spouses!), plus it's cash only. If I had more cash on me, I wish I could've tried their delicious-looking homemade muffins in various creative flavors. Next time!
