Massimo Delicatessen

“They make awesome Italian sandwiches, raviolis, meatballs, fresh mozzarella…etc.”

“I personally order the Umbria sandwich with an extra bit of balsamic on it.”

“I tend to rotate between the Massimo Special Sub (which is like an old Italian style sub) and a roast pork/broccoli rabe/sharp provolone but I'm sure anything on the menu is going to be delicious.”

  1. Great selection of Italian meats and the menu has a lot of awesome ideas for sandwiches. Although you can really order whatever you want. The guys are very friendly and everything is made to order. We stopped here and ordered sandwiches for a tailgate. Definitely worth it. They don't have the biggest Selection of side dishes but they do have some packaged Italian products for sale.

  2. I was in the mood for some crunchy bread on a nice, big sub. So I sent the boyfriend off to Massimo Deli and had him pick up their prosciutto and mozz sandwich. I like that they don't automatically want to put onions on your sandwich (I hate onions). Just lettuce/tomato/oil/vinegar. Just how I like it. Except, their oil & vinegar tastes a little weird. I think next time I go here for a sandwich, I'll skip the dressing and just get it dry.

The boyfriend got roast beef, which was pretty good.

  3. This place is very legit for Italian cured meats.

Too bad there's no table inside to dine in. I got my large massimo special and ate it at my desk at work.

I'd come back and maybe enjoy at a park bench outside on a nice day.

There's also hot food for you to heat up for dinner/lunch too.
