  1. It's small (or growing, rather) but has a handful of everything you need. It is a great source of organic meat, which is greatly lacking in the Williamsburg area. The guy who sells the Turkey meat – it's the best I've ever tasted!

Fun family atmosphere, lots of goings on in neighboring McCarren Park and on Bedford Ave!

  2. Love coming here on Saturday and picking up some food to cook for the weekend. There is a good mix of stuff to buy and so far the quality of what I have gotten has been much better than what I can get in the C-Town by me. Yes it is a little more expensive but you can taste it and that makes it worth it.

  3. Great little farmers market with a little bit of everything you need like Bread, fresh seafood, Meat, and yes fresh veggies. I look forward every weekend walking to the market, and taking the pooch to the dog run. my favorite little stand is Treleaven wines they have this awesome apple wine called Apple Mystique a must try. I also like the grass fed meats from Arcadian pastures plus they sell fresh eggs as well. On my cheat days i go straight to barker's bounty and marry it with B&B jams and count the calories away….Ha heaven!

  4. I've come to expect crowds in farmers markets around brooklyn … But as crowds go this one is relatively polite. Everyone has children and/or dogs and usually both. It's kind of lovely – all these brooklyn families buying produce and locally sourced meats on a sunny-ish day. Aspirational for sure.

  5. I would probably not listen to the one star review, though it is one of the most amusing I have read…

Do you like smiling at cute dogs? Do you like vegetables, turkey burgers, honey, cacti and flowers? Ok, you will probably enjoy this place.

The place at the end (or beginning depending on how to look at it I guess) is the best one. Fresh produce, lowest prices. It's the largest stand.

  6. What's not to like?  Lot's of awesome locally made/grown products to purchase and browse?  This is where my boyfriend and I pick up our Farm Share.  Lots of organic grown vegetables that taste out of this world good!  There are also tents for meats, raw honey and other things like that.  A fun way to spend a Saturday morning.  And what's not to like about Williamsburg?!

  7. It's a small farmers market but has a good variety of products.

The parking is actually difficult but not impossible.

I love the organic stall. I come here for their organic golden beets. It's my favorite. Yes there is a difference in taste. The organic stuff is sweeter.

I wish the farmers market was open all weekend, but unfortunately it's not. You have to visit this farmers market on Saturdays before 1:30 pm or you'll miss it. They usually start to pack up about 2pm-ish.

  8. More of these farmers markets should pop up around the greater NYC area. We have one in Queens in Jackson Heights but this really needs to be expanded so that local growers can get their crops out to the public which means healthier fresher salads and everything wonderful . Support local growers and buy from Farmers Markets
