  1. Cool little Irish dive with an eclectic crowd.  Not at all touristy which is a definite plus.  It's a really small and narrow place that you could miss if you weren't looking for it.  Good selection of beers.

  2. Bartenders are friendly…sports is on the TV so grab a Stool and relax a bit. Love the apple tini but many beers are on tap.

  3. A small unassuming bar. We came here to get away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square and New York nightlife.

We ordered at the bar and the bartender was polite and quick. The only table available was a table back by the restroom, which wasn't ideal but good enough for a quick drink.

With so much to explore in New York, I probably won't be back, but this bar is a-ok.

  4. Stopped by for a quick drink before dinner. When you first enter, you walk through a narrow hallway area (which is actually the bar), go up some stairs, and then you can sit at some tables. We sat by the bar while we were waiting for the last person in our party to arrive. They have a decent beer selection and I had a few darker beer from their list. I can't imagine myself hanging out at this bar, but it served as a pit-stop well.

  5. Small Dive Bar in Hell's Kitchen. Very Small. Has a medium length bar with enough space for barstools and a thin walkway behind it, a few booths in the back and that's about it. The window booth is probably the best seat in the house. Place smells like any good dive-bar should: A layer of Mr. Clean over years of spilled beer .

Cheap drinks are a plus, but I only ordered beer. Despite being an "Irish" dive bar, the Guinness I ordered came in a pint glass, as did the Black and Tan. The bartender definitely gave it time to settle, but messed up the head ratio.

I probably would not go back here if in the area… there is this pretty cool Bacon Bar Gastropub a few doors down.

  6. Fantastic dive bar in Hell's Kitchen. Their happy hour specials are great ($5 for well, select draft, and shots). I was there on a bender the other day and spent $11 after 4 hours. A lot of their drafts are brewed specifically for them, my favorite is the spiced ale.
The bartenders are nice and if you get there early there is no one there. Also, they play fantastic music. If you're looking for a nice rainy day getaway, go to McCoy's!

  7. Very nice bar tenders, decent happy hour and their Lager is tasty. I would go back if i'm in the area again.

  8. Really fun little irish pub if you ever find yourself aaaalll the way on the west side.

I recommend for pregaming Terminal 5 shows.

Most notable is the music they play: all the best classics. Owner was a riot. When I told him I'd yelp him he said "he didn't believe in all that yelp nonsense."

Well too bad I'm yelping you anyway because I want to call attention to your charming little bar!
