I have a love hate relationship with McDonald's. Their are days that everything is perfect and days that I just want to vent my frustration on Mr. CEO of the Big Mac, but today I had a very nice experience.
This location has seen a complete renovation. It is brand spanking new. New interior, storefront, bathrooms, furniture, etc. The old location was just beat up, worn and it has seen better days.
The place was busy around 4 PM, but I was in and out in less than 3 minutes. Faster probably. I really enjoy the dollar menu and it's $1 burger. When you just want a quick bite or snack, these McDouble, McChicken hit the spot.
I must add that I was looking for things to go wrong, but I was very surprised. You have to give credit due when things go right. Friendly and fast service. Tasty and hot burger. Clean location.
Overall, this McDonald's has been hit or miss, but today they did a good job.
This is a McDonald's you guys…if you're coming here for anything then hopefully you are managing your expectations and not expecting Michelin star quality food.
This McDonald's is very good at what it's supposed to do. Quick cheap food in a clean (and surprisingly modern) setting. Seating available here is ample and it's one of the newer looking MickeyDs complete with mod decor and "arty" looking wall murals.
Yesterday I did their "2 for $2.50" special because times are rough and a McChicken sandwich with small fries seemed like a good idea at the time – and it was. It was a solid, solid idea. It filled the void in my tummy. I've also had their Oreo McFlurry here and Oreo McFlurries are NEVER a bad idea.
Giving this particular MickeyDs 4 stars because, "ba da pa pa paaaaaaaa, I'm luvin' it!!"
