This location is simple, hood, and direct to the point.
Pros
-The line moves quickly, people know what they want.
-usually cheaper in prices because you are in the Bronx.
-if ur missing a few dollars they will let it slide
-it is 24 hours
Cons
-it's in the hood so at night people come in and like to start problems so beware
-this location runs out of inventory fast so don't be alarmed when they say they don't have it
-some cashiers come off rude to you.
-homeless people are always staying in there asking for money and will ask you if they see you buying something
Overall I would stress if you don't want to make stuff at home and your just looking for something fast and quick to eat to go to this location only if it's in the morning to mid afternoon. I would not stress you to come here at night.
So I have a doctor visit at 6am. I know sounds crazy, but I swear there was nothing illicit about this visit. When you get hurt at work, sometimes they force you to do absolutely stupid things.
I took the Metro North in thinking great an IHOP is near by. Getting out of the office I realized that my train was only 30 minutes away and I didn't have time for wonderful pancakes. Slowly I retreated my head hung low. Then I remembered seeing a nice looking coffee shop on 225 st. It was closed when I walked by at 5:45 but surely it's open now after 7am on a work day. Closed! Great there is a McDonalds around the corner….
My tail between my legs I walked in to McD's and ordered a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. The sandwich was adequate as normal. The coffee was surprisingly good. The place was clean, and the workers pleasant.
Oh no my liver is in hell.
In the wee hours of a business morning with nothing open in the blistering winter cold, aside from Starbucks, McDonald's at 225th Street/ Broadway in Marble Hill, Bronx was the last resort. One hot tea and one hash brown with a limited cash budget tied me over for the morning. When entering the premise this location is filled with more than sufficient heat, despite of enjoying the warmth, in stillness intake. Seating is available with locals of this unglamorous area.
