Junior Rosenberry
It's warm and breezy outside, but inside it's hot and muggy! Making it even worse, the employees are unbelievably slow and inattentive — after 15 minutes of waiting and saying Excuse Me and being ignored, listening to the employees gibbering and jabbering (standing around, avoiding work), I just gave up. All I wanted was a Strawberry Sundae with Peanuts, but it just wasn't fu&&ing worth all the bulls&&t!
Waited 10-15min for a shake because the machine was acting up yet when I asked for a large cup of ice water they still had the nerve to ask me for 79 cents. Charging for a large water may be the standard procedure but making a customer wait while you fix your machines isn't standard and I figured they'd let the 79 cents slide, especially as I didn't happen to have enough change on hand. Just for the principle of it (and that I was biking back to Brooklyn from here) I left and bought a bottle of water at the bodega next door.
I am not a fan of fast food, but I don't trust anyone that says they don't like McDonald's French fries. Haaa. It's good to get them a few times a year. (Can I evoke the term "self-care" here?) So, when one of my roommates and I were stretching on what to get for dinner one night, McDonald's it was.
I got my mediocre and dry Chicken Selects and some almost-cold French fries.
Boooo.
Oh, and the cash register area smells borderline nauseatingly like nail polish remover because of the large nail salon directly next door.
I'll find other McDonald's to satisfy my occasional McD French Fry cravings at.
