This McDonald's location was a block away from our hotel. Just a quick bite in the morning…and maybe a late night snack after a few hours of drink 🙂
The location was big. I think if I recall correctly, there were multiple floors. The joint seemed super clean and stayed open for a long time. If you're in the area, please come check them out. It's just your standard McD's.
First time at this McD's even though I work across the street. Mostly, because it seems a) always crowded on the sidewalk and inside b) homeless people tell to congregate there. There is no ordering and organization system in place, which makes it a hot mess to order and pick up your food. The front is always crowded by homeless people or students who take up multiple chairs. But, there is additional seating upstairs, though.
My order came out fast but my buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich tasted off. My mozzie sticks were cold in the middle and the fries were under cooked…where was that golden crusty layer…..? No where to be found!
I don't typically write reviews on food chains, but this McDonalds at this location is awful.
The staff is rude and the service is horrible. Me and my roommate just wanted to order two sausage mcmuffins for breakfast. We waited 15 minutes but our number was never called.
We followed up with the cashier (politely may I add) but she yelled back blaming us that she called our number multiple times and because no one came, they threw our order away. That makes absolutely no sense. We complained and then she reluctantly decided to ring up another order. We waited another 20 minutes and nothing happened. We followed up again and the cashier yelled back saying "Excuse me! I SAID we're working on it" and slammed the counter. I don't believe in waiting over 30 minutes for a sausage mcmuffin at a McDonalds and I am appalled by the attitude of its workers.
It's Mcdonalds lol what else can i say. i usually come and get an iced coffee.. its 99 cents so why not? can get a bit busy here in the morning its right near the subway so people come to get the coffee or Egg McMuffin and go to work.
It's always so crowded when I go every time but today I got lucky…it had a short line so I got in to order and out with the food within 5 minutes. Usually I have to wait 20 minutes before I can even get my food. I was hooked by their summer menu promotion otherwise I wouldn't have choose to walk in here. Cashiers are friendly and extremely friendly today which was a plus because most are usually….not happy… Maybe it's the crowd.
