Tasty Korean alcoholic drink called McGully is made pretty good over here. There are a variety of flavors, mango, lychee, soda, and more fruit flavors. The food here is surprisingly good too but their prices are pretty awful. Their seafood pancake was excellent. It was nicely cooked and crunchy.
My biggest problem here is just the price. The drinks and food is great but the prices aren't appealing at all. $18 for seafood pancake? Come on, on a dead Monday night…you could do better. Each McGully order was around $18 I think too. Every dish averaged $18 bucks. between 3 people, our bill was roughly $90 for 2 dishes, 2 orders of McGully, and 2 orders of rice. If you ask me, it's clearly a rip off. The place was dead empty the entire time we were there.
Whether or not if they make their business on weekends, their prices need to change. I understand that most Korean restaurants are pretty much have high mark ups but McGully Alley is in the middle of no where on Northern Blvd. It's a type of place where I would like to come back and recommend to friends but they gotta do something about their prices. The place is clean, they played good music, service was good but hey, there were no other customers except for us…. This place has potential. I hope they make some changes and have a successful business some day.
