Son of Difara's literally makes miracles in a tiny storefront around the corner from Dom's pizza mecca….Italian-American heroes, plates and pastas are made and served from Pan to Plate. I went for the shrimp parm., but once I saw veal hero on the menu- $8 add on parm for $.50 I was like oh yeah……always in the mood for veal parm.
Again, my veal parm was poured hot, fresh and delish from pan to my warmed hero.
Ate, it around the corner at DiFara's cause I can't leave E.15th without a slice.
The MD Kitchen serves all the faves and made to order………Satisfying & simply delish!
Delicious shrimp parm! I didn't especially like the spaghetti but the breaded shrimp is definitely yummy. A got the chicken parm hero, which wasn't anything special to us too so he was disappointed but I'd definitely come back if I were craving a shrimp parm hero, which I do wish I got instead of the plate. Definitely a tiny place with just two stools and a bench but we did notice a lot of action for take-out. We came on a Saturday afternoon and it was nice because it was just the two of us. There's no pizza here for those of you who are wondering since this is by Di Fara's offspring but you will find pizzeria staples such as rice balls, beef patties, wings, and fries. The woman behind the counter was very nice and made us the cheese fries that we requested. 🙂
Went back for another slice at Di Fara, and I just have to say..MD Kitchen is better at Chicken Parm than Di Fara is at pizza. Bold? Yes. True? Also yes.
I was expecting something stellar since this place is run by Dom DeMarco's son. what I got was a standard eggplant park sandwich–not bad, and filling. I had to wait forever, though, so don't come in a hurry
