  1. Though it's been awhile since they've been around, occasionally I get a chance to hang out and indulge in some street side Colombian eats with Mi Pequeno Terruno #2. Just steps away from the Museum of Moving Image (yelp.com/biz/museum-of-t…), the cart provides a cheap and quick alternative to the many Colombian spots along Steinway.

For those who are familiar with the #1 cart in Corona, #2 is considerably less popular. The only real people traffic beyond the museum is the UA Theatre (yelp.com/biz/ua-kaufman-…) and perhaps folks stumbling out of Studio Square (yelp.com/biz/studio-squa…). The late night hours are dicey as to whether or not they choose to be around, but if there is bad weather it's a likely a no-go.

The woman primarily operating the cart is Maria, super friendly and very accommodating. The menu is limited to only a few items and she'll let you know what she does or doesn't have available. Sometimes in the day time they'll feature huevos al gusto con arepa ($4) or it's chorizo counter part ($3), but the things to get here are the stuffed arepas (rellenas) that are filled with chicken, ground beef, or a combo of both ($7). Save for the crunchy empanadas ($2) and the kebab-like chuzos ($3), I can't seem to resist the arepa de choclo ($4) or the Colombian hot dog ($4). Both are hearty and are easy to eat on the go.

Unless you're surrounded by the awesome variety of Colombian on Roosevelt Ave, Mi Pequeno Terruno #2 has you covered (at least in snack form) on edge of Steinway.
