We were in a pinch. We needed an Italian specialty dolce and were near my home. A little help from Google and this place popped up. I wasn't even sure it still existed especially in Millburn. It did exist and I am glad we found it.
Their selection in such a tiny location is similar to Corrado's in Clifton. Imported Italian oils, sweets, pasta, cheeses…it was truly a "gem". We found the unique item we were looking for and will surely be back to try their Italian cold cuts and sandwichs…
As good as it gets!!! Small, local, knowledgable and most of all friendly!!! Came in looking for a balsamic vinegar glaze, you know they kind they serve in the restaurants, they had it actually a few different kinds – and she could tell me exactly what the differences were! Impressed! Picked up some "Bel Paese" creamy cheese, OMG I have not seen those since I was a kid growing up in the Italian section of the Danforth in Toronto!! Also scored some fresh mozzarella to go with all my tomatoes that are ripening, delicious mozzarella! Will definitely be back!
