  1. The smell outside of Mighty Quinn's alone warrants 5 stars and is probably responsible for multiple instances of me consuming more meat than I should in one sitting.  The food is consistently good, we've sample the brontosaurus rib, pulled pork, brisket, and burnt ends.  The burnt ends are definitely my favorite and one of the better examples that I've sampled in the area. I like the sides and I like the pickles that they give you as a nice, tangy bite to contrast with the richness of the meat.  The portions are deceptively large – as in, I always think there won't be enough food but instead I'm always stuffed.

  2. Anytime I'm near the Clifton area I always think of Mighty Quinn's and their pulled pork sandwich and here's why.

A good tasting pulled pork sandwich and other meats like brisket etc are always hard to find in my opinion. Taste, juiciness, fats all come into play when looking for that satisfying sandwich. When I first came to Mighty Quinn's I was in pork heaven. This place is a hit!

What I love about Mighty Quinn's is how diverse it can be. Whether coming in for lunch or a casual night out I think this is your place. Now I wouldn't go as far to say you can hit this place up instead of a bar. However I will say if you just want a bite to eat and grab a beer with a friend this might be your spot for a change.

Choose your meat selection and order some fries and enjoy this sandwich. On every table you'll find a jar of BBQ sauce which is my favorite part! Indulge in that BBQ sauce to your liking. Go for it!

  3. Bought the groupon and finally got to try this place out.   They work in an assembly line and it's super cool to watch them work.  Cutting the meat, sprinkling some sea salt to finish and some extra juice to keep the meat moist.

Got pound of spare ribs, wings, corn fritters, baked beans, and cole slaw.  They have Plenty of beers on top, bottled beers, liquors, and wines.  Exceptional service throughout our experience.

Loads of seating areas and super clean.  The ribs are fall off the bone good.  Tried it without the sauce first and it was great but I needed some extra flavor so the BBQ sauce was great on top.  Wings were perfect.. Loved the garlic sauce on it and had a kick.  Sides were killer.  There was nothing I didn't like!

  4. My boyfriend and I came here hungry as hell one night and decided to order 1 of almost everything on the menu.

Brisket- disappointing! Which is ironic because it looked the yummiest. I don't know if it was just that batch but it was very dry and tasteless.

Ribs, pulled pork sandwich- 10/10 deliciousssss

Wings- not the best, I could've done without them. They had a little kick to them so the spice was nice

Sweet potato casserole- I can eat this for breakfast lunch and dinner. Sweet and crunchy and delicious

Coleslaw- I prefer the mustard one over the mayo based one. Complimented the meat very well.

Also ordered a side of fries (don't remember the name) with brisket and cheese over top, delicious but was a little too much on top of all the fatty meats.

  5. This will be a quick review. I went for a friend's birthday dinner and I was pleasantly surprised. It's not exactly a restaurant. It's more of a cafeteria or Chipotle where you go up to the counter and get your food.

I'm not a big BBQ fan but this place did have ambience and delicious food. The corn fritters were excellent. I had the half of chicken and it was juicy. The BBQ sauce at the table is a must.

Go and try this place out.

  6. Stopped by Mighty Quinn's the other night with my wife and was pretty upset about the service. We walked up to the counter and asked for burnt ends which they were out of. When I inquired about the ribs and what the difference was, it was like I was asking for the person's first born. The server behind the counter even  had the audacity to say the difference was the price. Thanks, I can read.

As for the food, I ended up getting the pork BBQ ribs and a side of baked beans. The ribs were pretty bland (had to douse them with BBQ sauce) and tasted a bit overcooked (probably from being old and sitting in the warmer for too long). The beans were okay.

This will probably be my last visit to this location. Shame, not many great BBQ places in the area…

  7. I'm quite a BBQ snob.  As a new lover of Brisket, after a trip to Dallas late last year. Mighty Quinns reminds me of a place I visited there.

I discovered this recently when leaving LA Fitness next door. It's rather hidden in the strip mall and I find it a really poor location. Lucky for me I strolled in on a Saturday after the gym wanting to pick up some food for later that night.

Saturdays are all day happy hour. The draft Beers were $3.50 and if i hadn't just come from the gym I would have ordered up at the counter and found a seat to watch one of the games that were on. This seems like a very comfortable spot to share a table, grab some awesome BBQ and hang out for a few hours.

I ordered the brisket and a pulled pork sandwich to go. The brisket was divine but a tad fatty, the pulled pork was tender and juicy but WAY too salty! The cole slaw was good as well. You MUST have a side of the baked beans. These are as good as they get. FRESH not a mushy mess. My dad tried some when I got home and all he could say was MMMMMM,  mmmmmm these are good. (That's praise of the highest caliber, in case you were wondering)

The ribs seemed a little pricey but I may get me a Groupon (yes, they offer Groupon but only for Rib combos and not sure if is valid to go) and splurge on the ribs. Stay tuned partners : )

  8. This was my first Mighty Quinn experience so I'm not sure how it compares to the locations in the city but the food tasted pretty good to me. The rack of ribs had not an ounce of fat on it and smokes to perfection. Juicy and tender. The chicken wings were out of this world, I don't think I have tasted such a unique flavor before. It was definitely on the spicier side but very flavorful with a tinge of sweetness. Their cole slaw, I think it's made with some dedication. You can taste that the cabbage has absorbed whatever they marinated it in. It's got that crunch with a little bit our sour and sweetness. I didn't care for the corn fritters too much. I got a great groupon deal for two people for 29 bucks. They feature some coolhaus treats which I was excited to get after eating but the line was out the door. Next time!
