probably one of the juiciest roasted chickens i've had in a long time – and at their prices, you really can't go wrong! Too bad they don't have locations in the city or in brooklyn…otherwise this would be my go-to-spot for quick delicious dinners!
Millenium Chicken is my go-to Peruvian chicken place. We have always picked up food to go home and never stayed to eat in so cannot comment on service/dining room.
Millenium is located in an industrial part of Elmont, right across the street from Home Depot. The area can be a little sketchy but I've seen many people come in to eat so I don't think it's a huge problem.
We always order on the phone and pick up 20-30 minutes later. We have never had an issue with our order being wrong and I always ask for extra green sauce, which they happily oblige and never charge me for.
They have combos which I think are pretty good in value. We usually order a combo with a whole chicken and rice and beans. I will then throw in two side orders of tostones, which comes with a creamy garlic sauce.
Their green sauce is also creamier than others and I LOVEEEE it. It goes SO well with the chicken. In fact, I can't stop thinking about it now.
Our family of 3 can eat two large meals with one of these orders.
We have yet to try the other items but hope to in the future.
