Mimi's kitchen has come a long way. About three years ago, the food was horrible….overcooked and bland. Within the past year, they stepped it up a little bit.
I usually keep it simple with broccoli, white rice, and garlic sauce with some chicken wings on the side and I enjoy it. Sometimes the garlic sauce is spicy, sometimes it's not but it's all good. The large portion of the meal is definitely enough for two people to share.
The prices are not bad and if you're ordering in, they have a fast delivery time. It's always a female in the front and she's pretty cool over the phone and in person. They're never stingy with extra sauce at all and they're always accurate with my order.
The only problem I have is the fork issue. Sometimes people are not always going home or somewhere with a fork already and she will not give you a fork unless you ask for it. I don't know if there is a shortage of plastic forks or if she just forgets but unfortunately I have found this out the hard way a few times so I'm telling a friend: Ask for a fork!
