  1. Good old standard American diner. You get what you expect. Can't go wrong.

  2. The food is good, but not terribly memorable–just good diner food.

Service was very good the day we visited Miss America.

The reason to go here is the ambiance–a classic 1940's style diner kept in very good condition.  Formica floor, vintage swivel seats, old-style classic luncheon counter, old-school booths–what's not to like?

  3. Very warm service from our server just like in so many other diners I've been in. My burger was okay, but the portion was too big! I was lethargic afterwards. Pretty cheap, though. Nice to have on the corner right by NJCU.

  4. I come in here when my care is getting worked on from Epic.

First, if you are ordering non-diner typical food, that's your problem.  Stock to the basics, breakfasts, meatloaf, soups.

In the few times I have been here the waitstaff really didn't really care that we were there, they just wanted to get our order and then go back to chit chatting with each other.

The decor looks like they took two diners and smashed them together.  It's clean enough, but with Brownstone not too far, I wouldn't come back here unless I had to.

  5. Had a great roast beef sandwich today!!!
And I really love the waitresses!!!  The service is quick.  I wish they would upgrade the utensils and plates.  Also I wish they carried some banana peppers or jalapeño or cherry peppers.

  6. This diner needs a renovation overhaul. Stat.

Our waitress was very nice and helpful, however the woman we paid with at the door hated her life and everything around her.

The food was actually pretty good and very cheap. Let's see maybe I'll be ordering from here.
