Mitoushi Sushi
“Speaking of price everything is very reasonable and that goes for both lunch and dinner.”
“Parking can get to be a bit of a pickle as the place gets pretty crowded at night, but that's only a good sign of what to expect at this place.”
“I usually just go for the 2.95 per roll sushi but the quality you get is beyond the price you pay for…”

This place is so so. I really like sushi but at the same time this place rolls could be Alit tile better everything is not as clean and perfect as you would be aspected when you first walked inside it looks like a cute little sushi restaurant then the waitress that took my order was rude then we wait for like half an hour for our food and the roll we order came like half am hour after we were done with our entree which is stupid..the price was reasonable though but the food was so so…i order the bento box half if my shit was oily i really didn't like that at all since i aspect to eat heathy when i go to the sushi so I wasn't even sure if that was a good thing that two meals only cost twenty bucks when the food and the taste is not even there…
Decent sushi at a good price with fun service. This place has a nightclub vibe, so I'm not sure what happens when you go later on, but their sushi is solid- not too imaginative but not too boring- it's fresh and good enough. We've gone a couple of times and I tried various rolls, some hits and some misses, but overall a fun sushi joint. It's also not hard to get your waiter to have a sake bomb with you.
I love sushi, and this place didnt know sushi at all! The taste of the rice was BLAND AND DRY… I wanted to drop my chopsticks right there and walk out. I got 5 smoke salmon sashimi which was strangely sliced each time, so I was happy if pieces were thicker than paper. Then my friend got the platter of 9 sashimi pieces which he also could barely eat the rice for it. The chicken katsu was also incredibly dry and the sauce was way too overpowering.
I saw the locals having sushi with forks!
The waiters where horrible and they didn't care about if you enjoyed your food or wanted to get anything else. The guests were no better, rowdy from the drinks they had and seemed like the staff didn't care either.
Worst sushi rice ever, people on Staten Island really don't know what good tasting sushi seems to taste like since this restaurant just spewed out such horrible trash.
I would love to be able to give you a complete review of my dinner yesterday but after waiting over 45 minutes for our food, my wife and I left. I guess it was too much to get a bento box and two sushi rolls out of the kitchen and into my belly in a reasonable amount of time.
After we told the waiter we wanted to cancel our order, you would think the manager would come over to apologize… not here. We left after paying for our drinks without so much as an apology. Be back I will not!!!!
On of the best sushi places on staten island. I am very particular about my sushi, I will pay whatever as long as the quality of fish is fresh. It also helps that this place is SUPER cheap and also delicious at the same time. I recommend the spicy tuna roll and spring rolls.
Yes, a cheap and easy sushi place on Staten Island! Their sushi was affordable, fresh and decent. I've had a lot of more expensive sushi and honestly the difference isn't that drastic (especially if you are just becoming seasoned with the taste of different sushi, such as myself). I had a sweetheart roll and a shrimp tempura, everything was fresh and I liked their spicy mayo. Also, we all shared vanilla tempura ice cream which was good! I was surprised because the ambience of the place isn't fantastic, but I'll definitely be back again for a good, inexpensive experience.
DO NOT COME HERE!
This place got a C-Rating during the restaurant inspection (Inspection was done ONLY 2 Months ago!!)
With an acceptable A score of 13 violation points, Mitoushi received 35 violation points!
Inspection reports say that there is evidence of bugs and other vermin here…
YUCK! I totally feel regret for eating here and taking my friends here.
EAT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
I love their sushi here. Chicken fried rice is amazing! Only thing is they rush your food. Food comes out quick here, literally you'll be done in an hr the most. But other than that sushi is amazing hands down, plus service is good too.
