Moe's is a very unfortunate situation. I say that because they have the makings of a good fast food-esk establishment – good menu items, creative names for their products, fun specials, etc. But their food is pretty bad.
I'm not really too sure who a review of Moe's on Staten Island is going to appeal to but if you have any sort of knowledge of good quality meat you definitely shouldn't eat here. Their rubbery chewy steak is borderline gross, which I don't frequently say about any food.
I came here on a Tuesday afternoon which is apparently a busy time AKA a bad idea because it's Joey Tuesdays. There were about 40, 15 year olds getting lunch which made me feel pretty terrible for the staff seeing as there was only a few of them. I wasn't in the mood to be disappointed by a burrito (insert Chipotle burrito reference here), so I went with the steak fajitas. The first guy that served me was fine but the second that put all my condiments/toppings/sides in the box slopped them in all on top of each other so that by the time I got it home the bag was filled with steak juice and sour cream and the all the toppings had ruin everywhere inside the box. The scoop of guacamole was pathetic, the sour cream was watery and the lettuce was browning around the edges. And if I need to bring it up again, the steak was of pretty low quality so much so I couldn't even cut through what I didn't eat to make small pieces for my cat – which I'm kind of glad because why feed her shit I wouldn't want to eat myself.
The most horribly mispositioned workers ever. You would think I am working for them and they are doing me a favor by serving me.
