  1. Nice, unexpected used bookstore a few blocks away from the Knickerbocker-M stop. While not the most convenient location (it's a bit of a hike if you're not already in the area), it's definitely an unexpected diamond amidst the roughage of Bushwick.

Lots of $1 books. A really nice collection.
Laid back atmosphere. All of the books were in really nice condition and nothing seemed to be more than $10. Good place to visit if you're not sure what you want to read next.

I picked up a graphic novel and some chick book.

The place is pretty small. However, I can only imagine how romantic this place will be in wintertime as snow falls around New York and I'm bundled up with my book and steaming hot coffee inside. Can't wait to come back.

  2. Great neighborhood bookshop!
