My "go-to" bar in NYC, and a great place to find the Craic.
I found this amazing place 2 weeks after moving to NYC and I'm so happy I did. It's genuine. It's not pretentious, it's not touristy, it's not over-priced, it's just great.
I stumbled across this place solely by accident, I had been walking home and noticed the lights set up in the front windows. I figured I'd stop by for a quick night cap. I'm really glad I did. No matter what night I went, the bartenders, and the owners were so hospitable and the service was amazing. In a very very bizarre way, it made me homesick for Texas. It just had that down to earth, instantly feel at home quality.
The drinks are very reasonably priced for being in Hell's Kitchen and the apps ( not that I ever ate here often) taste amazing. You can belly up to the bar or continue towards the back to where it opens up into a game room. I know absolutely NOTHING about soccer, but I still found myself cheering every time I heard the screams from the back room.
I miss this place, a lot. I can't wait for a quick weekend back to the city to head back to Molloy's.
Came here for drinks with friends after work and it wasn't crowded at all. Our server wasn't great. When I got there, I said I was waiting for my friends and he didn't even give me a menu. Once they arrived, we had to ask him for menus. He seemed annoyed we weren't all there at the same time and needed time to look over the menu. They have a happy hour menu with a few drinks listed but there's also a 2-for-1 special for ladies on Wednesdays which is for anything you order. I got a drink that wasn't on the happy hour menu figuring it was 2-for-1 since I'm a girl and it was Wednesday.
When he brought the drinks, he screwed up the order and gave me someone else's drink. I wasn't going to say anything because he was already annoyed but then a few minutes later he realized his mistake and came back to give me the right drink. The drink wasn't even strong but I thought I'd have another to see if it was a fluke. Nope. Also not strong. Then when he brought the bill, I noticed he charged me $20 ($10 per drink). Ummm, what about 2-for-1?? I was telling my friends (a bit loudly) how that was wrong and he was on break a few tables down just listening to me and smiling like this was hilarious. We saw him and asked him to come over. I said "isn't it 2-for-1?" And he's like "oh yeah. Sorry, I'll fix it." He did, I paid the bill and left. If I hadn't said anything though he wouldn't have done anything. I don't remember if I gave a good tip or not. Either way, both drinks were not even worth $10.
All in all, it's a decent place to hang out to talk to people since it's not loud but if you're looking for a good drink or good service, go somewhere else.
This is an adorable little Irish pub. Came here for St. Patrick's day searching for a Guinness with a decent pour. We came mid-day since we knew that the place would be filled to the brim after the parade. Our waitress said something was wrong with their kitchen so no food was being served for another couple of hours. No biggie. A pint of Guinness is a meal in itself right?
I was under the assumption that all drafts were $5, but to my surprise they amped up the price to $9 per pint for the holiday. I understand they need to cash in on the fact that it's St. Patrick's day, but wow what a jump. (It would be nice if they advertised it). Anyway, it was good service, a fun atmosphere and a solid poured pint.
A run of the mill Irish pub in Hell's Kitchen. Straight forward – Irish beers, bar food, simple pub decor.
They have all day drafts for $5, and Smithwicks to boot. A plate of jumbo buffalo wings ($10) and I was a happy camper. Service is excellent – bartender lady was friendly and easy to talk to. The food came out quickly, piping hot.
Nothing more to say here, a good throwback bar option for the area. Every neighborhood needs one.

Four Stars
Stopped in for a couple drinks at this irish pub. Sang a bit of drunken karaoke. There is not a stage so you stand by the front and belt your little heart out. I sang Garth Brooks's Friends in Low Places. You cannot hear yourself so I hope I was fine. Not a bad place to finish off a night.
Decent irish pub, the Guinness was quite tinny indicating unclean lines or glasses. Stopped by for a late night drink. The prices are very good, and the staff was attentive. No reason to go out of my way here, but also an okay spot.
Says on Yelp they have a pool table but they don't 🙁
Cute little tiny pub!
We went here for NYE and the staff was pretty friendly.
The drinks were pretty good, and the prices are very reasonable! $5 for draft beers and $8 for a cranberry vodka, my go to.
The bartender was very nice and he even gave me a glass of champagne to toast the new year.
My only problem is that its a bit smaller than most bars, so its a squeeze if its busy that day. But other than that, its worth the trip over!
