The food is mediocre to average at best. I've tried a fair number of items on their menu varying from their Mexican taco platters to their Western dishes such as the Chicken Parmesan with rigatoni and triple decker turkey bacon sandwiches.
I would say that their best item are the onion rings- don't eat these cold or you'll regret it. And, the tacos come to a close second. But, even the tacos are average. The tacos are simple: some shredded lettuce, choice of meat (e.g. pernil, steak, chicken), sour cream, green sauce. If you order the taco platter, they also come with rice and beans.
Everything else that I've tried has been pure disappointment. The turkey in the triple decker turkey and bacon sandwich is awful and doesn't look or taste like real turkey meat- so I picked it out. The chicken Parmesan was the worst. The pasta was extremely bland, the sauce was from a tub, and the chicken was burnt and I fell ill after eating it. I've contemplated trying the food under the heat lamps, but they all look like they've been left out for too long (pitifully dry) or drowned in oil. Lastly, their chicken quesadillas were so bad. They didn't wrap the quesadilla with a flour tortilla- never found out what the wrap was.
The staff is fairly nice, but I would not recommend this place.
Not bad…. Great panini's… though the soup can be a bit "greasy" ….
Service is always top-notch and they're very efficient when they have a line. I'm glad they're here… I work nearby.
I work nearby so when I am in the mood for Mexican food, I come here for lunch. The food is decent and their prices are reasonable. The portions are not as large as other Latin restaurants but it is good for people on diets. I usually get pernil with rice and beans but at my least visit, I got the special, ribs. The ribs fell off the bone and was delicious. It tasted homemade. I will definitely come back and order that again.
Pretty good food. Their prices are reasonable. I noticed that when we order delivery they miss items. The people who work there are sometimes hit or miss.
I would suggest getting a pick up when ordering. I wouldn't suggested eating in the location. Plates to try are their Flautas, Grits, breakfast sandwiches and any of their Mexican meals.
This isn't a place to go if you're looking for good Mexican food. Granted, I didn't come here thinking I was going to eat authentic Mexican food, but to give you an idea of what I mean, they sell burgers, wings, gyros, and pasta here as well, so it's definitely not a specialized Mexican joint.
I got the roasted pork ribs combo ($9), and to be fair, the ribs were pretty good. Tender, a little crisp, not much flavor to it though. The combo comes with a side of beans, rice, and a choice between three things I can't remember, but I chose the fried plantains. The fried plantains were ok, but I didn't bother finishing the beans and the rice.
My friend and I also got several fajitas ($3.50 each), but they're basically "fajita tacos". They're slightly larger than the soft tacos at Taco Bell. The steak was thin and too crispy, the chicken was rough, and overall there wasn't much flavor to them, even with some kind of white sauce added to it.
