I had the duplings which were nice. I tasted the three proposed Chicken, Veggie and Lamb. The veggie was very tasty and with a delivate dough. The service was really kind. 5 pcs 6$, 7$ for the lamb. This was my first walk in Prospect Park Plaza on an October Sunday and luckily there was a bunch of Pop up food trucks to choose from for a snack!
The Momos & Buns food truck is a division of Chinese Mirch, restaurants priding themselves on Indo-Chinese flavors.
I saw the Momos & Buns truck hanging out in midtown and couldn't help but give it a go. A modest line at the lunch time seemed promising–perfect for a short time span spent away from the office while still getting quality truck food. (Yes quality truck food IS a thing now, if you've been sleeping on this trend.) I picked-up chicken momos, fairly priced at $6.00, and a side order of bbq pork buns for $4.00. The chicken momos were fantastic, the sauce is delicious but a bit hot. The bbq pork buns were passable, I received them luke warm instead of hot which was a bit disappointing. The bbq sirarcha sauce is extremely tasty but also fire-y!
I would definitely recommend this truck to anyone in search of a decent sort-of-Chinese take-out meal.
