  1. Cute cafe with coffee, teas, pastries, and light fare. Iced coffee was up to par and chicken flatbread was good. Nice cozy atmosphere perfect for studying or hanging out. Service was friendly and barista continued to refill my water for a few hours!

Only thing I did not like was the bread pudding muffin pastry..it was too buttery for my taste. The barista asked how I liked it and I was honest and told her it was too buttery and I couldn't eat it (and had only taken 1 bite). She said "Oh", but perhaps she could have offered me a different pastry to try. Only reason this place does not get 5 stars in my book.

Oh, and the toilet paper is too thin. Literally see-thru.

  2. I was on my hunt for finding the best espresso in the Bronx and decided to come here based on reviews I've read. Glad I did.

It's a great addition to the neighborhood. It's a small, cute and cozy place for any occasion. Great for a client meeting, a place to catch up with friends and even great for doing some work on your downtime.

What I've really come to enjoy about this place is that I can eat my food with an ice cold beer (wine if you're fancy) so having that available to customers is genius. Also, the birds tell me mon-fri 5-8 is buy one get one for happy hour. And w/ the great prices they have, I can tell you it's definitely the best deal in area. You can't beat $5  all day ipa!!! (I'll take 4 please)

I've tried the margarita pizza and the prosciutto arugula flatbread. I realized they don't have an actual kitchen and everything is made at the bar which made me a bit hesitant but surprisingly, for what the foods are priced at, is good and very reasonably priced.

For dessert, I went on to order a cappuccino (I am a coffee snob) and again I am usually disappointed at most other places within the Bronx but it was perfect. It was creamy, consistent and provided the foam I like to see. The espresso was excellent and was not bitter at all. The milk was perfect temp and I couldn't be happier.

I also ordered the Cinnabon. Emma, our server told my table they ran out of vanilla glaze that sits atop the pastry, and she was kind enough to whip up a quick glaze to pour over. She told me her mother taught her and I would like to thank Emma's mother for this. It was absolutely delicious!!! (Thanks mom. You the best)

Service wise, everything from the moment I stepped in til the moment I walked out was superb. Brittany and Emma were absolutely the sweetest and friendliest employees I've seen in quite a while. They are constantly smiling, extremely helpful and took care of everything that we needed and made some wonderful selections for me to try on my next visit.

Even if the place was a complete disaster, Brittany and Emma are so lovely and sweet – it's service like theirs that makes people want to revisit for second chances. They were both absolutely wonderful. Thank you guys.

Will definitely be returning. And highly recommend.
