Placed a website order with expedited shipping. A whole four days after I placed the order, I received a call from an employee who told me they hadn't even started processing my order because they hadn't noticed that I had paid for expedited shipping. This left me in a terrible spot because not only could they not get me my order in time, I now could not even order from another vendor to get my product in time.
It's shocking enough that this store believes four days is an appropriate delay to begin processing an order. But what was so galling about this is that at no time was any apology made. Not even a simple "sorry" was uttered, much less any attempt to rectify the situation or make it better – when I told them to cancel, they just hung up. Very unprofessional and certainly not worth any customer's time.
I'm writing an update because I think they deserve it. The GM contacted me apologizing for my less than stellar experience and gave me his direct email so that he could personally help me in the future, he even offered to show me around the old and rare room! I'm not a grudge holder and anyone that takes the time to right a wrong is A OK in my book, I'm definitely giving them another chance.
