Great place, good prices, and friendly staff. A great selection of food, only you have to look for it to find it sometimes. Why? Because they stuff their freezers with food.
Great fruit and vegetable selection. Try the rotisserie BBQ chicken and the round potato kugel (usually available Wednesday and Thursday nights). Lines aren't that long, and the staff are quick.
Deli by the pound is my favorite. Try the corned beef. Also try the potato knishes — both the circular and triangular are excellent.
Again, another place the parents go to for kosher goods. Mountain Fruit is a sizable kosher supermarket that pretty much sells everything. The prices here are also reasonable for kosher items.
Baking a cake? They're got flour, eggs, sugar, frosting, sprinkles, etc. Cooking a steak? They've got the steak, seasonings, and anything you need for a dish. Want ice cream? They have regular kosher ice creams and non-dairy items like tofutti.
Basically, if you're kosher and want a place to find everything, including your veggies, Mountain Fruit has an extensive selection.
This is a place where everything is certified Kosher. If your looking for Kosher food and are looking for the convenience of having everything in one place, then this is the place for you… if you don't mind spending a few extra dollars. Some of the food is average kosher food prices and some is a bit high.
There is no service.. but which supermarket does have? The take out food is pretty good and they have a decent selection.
The one thing that I didn't like, was the ladies that put down two items on the checkout.. leave their wagons and continue shopping…. the cashiers… just leave it and wait for them!
I hade to go from lane to lane.. and was turned away 3 times because someone put their stuff down and walked away! Now thats nerve!
Whats even more nervy is that the manager seemed to joke with the other customers and didn't object at all.
