MENU: Its short menu has the typical items you can find at other Chinese take outs, but the addition of items like "Spam and Egg Noodle Soup," "Beef Noodle Soup," and a variety of slushies and boba/"bubble tea" give it some advantage over others. They have a few Taiwanese items I am interested in trying since they aren't common among other take out places in the area. I'd recommend the Lunch Specials, which are available until 4pm versus the 3pm cutoff for their competitors.
TASTE: The food is solid. I certainly have a favorite when it comes to take out, but what we ordered was good. My Two Ways Mix ($6.95) comes with a stir fry of two meats (beef, chicken, and something else–no pork, though), rice, and a bubble tea drink. The meat was clearly grilled first, then stir fried with vegetables in a light sauce. Our Beef Lo Mein ($7.95) was a bit light in color, but it was alright. We also ordered General Tso's Chicken with rice (Chef's Special–$7.25). It's fried then doused in plenty of sauce, a bit different from the "dry" GT Chicken.
PRICE and PORTIONS: Perhaps the main reason why I gave 4-stars is because of the pricing and generous portions. For $7 (the Lunch Specials), you get a large amount of food AND boba/bubble tea. The amount of food you get is more than what you would normally get from similar places; they use those large, white styrofoam boxes. If you want a cheap and filling meal, I'd recommend this place as an option if you're in the area. Mr. Hibachi delivers–minimum $12–and it arrives in a decent amount of time (about 30 minutes since it was going to a friend's house in Union). The food was freshly cooked–always appreciated–and the delivery driver was friendly. I would also need to recommend delivery since they don't have dedicated parking spots.
