  1. I I tried ordering sushi from here the other day as J&J Sushi was closed. The food was awful and the place was gross. I feel bad giving them one star as they were really friendly but I would never get food from here again. I walked inside to pick up my order & the place was dark & dirty. They had maybe 5 tables & the furniture looked like it was 80 years old. They had the blinds closed & dim lighting & old linoleum flooring. Anyway…the food…I really wanted a miso soup, how could you mess that up, right? It was gross. Tasted like water, I threw it out. The Shumai was ok, not great but edible. Then I had s spicy California roll. Definitely no spicy mayo on this & I know they charged me for it. The shrimp or whatever fake seafood that was in it wasn't good & I regretted eating it as soon as I did but I was craving sushi so bad! My brothers spicy tuna looked gross too. My thoughts are if you're a Chinese restaurant, stick to that, don't try to sell sushi if you don't know how. At least we got free endamame with our $25+ order.

  2. i'll keep it short and sweet (?). Spare ribs are way oversauced and become too sweet. The overall freshness of the food is also questionable. I'll just say this was probably my first and last time ordering. There are many way better places in the area.

  3. This is by far my favorite sauna in the North Arlington area.  You'll really sweat the pounds off as you sit in the 100 degree heat…

Oh wait, this is a sushi restaurant? My bad, I couldn't tell because of how hot it was inside. The waitress claimed they had AC and suggested we move to the sushi bar where it would be cooler, but it was just as hot. (The sushi chef turned on a fan which just blew hot air at us)

The only other patron, a girl waiting for her take out, was attempting to prevent from passing out from the heat by holding a cold soda can against her forehead.

We thought about ordering food to go and taking it back to work since it was unbearable for sit-down service inside Mr. Shu,  but then we realized we wanted raw fish, not cooked fish.

I'll attempt coming back here in the winter because all of the other reviews were pretty stellar and I still haven't found any great sushi in this area.
