  1. Free samples of Fresh orange green tea on Roosevelt at Mr. Wish! This is my new favorite drink and boba spot in Flushing. They have a lot of fresh fruit juices and all natural ingredients.

The first time I came here about a week ago the person at the register-Andrew was very friendly, helpful and explained the drinks to me so I found exactly what I wanted.

Today I went back to get my favorite drink the orange green tea and Soso was at the register this time. She was very nice and told me if I write a review on Yelp I can get a discount on my next order so why not! 😀 Thank you Soso!

If you're looking for the place they are across from Macy's and right above the 7 train entrances/exits.

  2. After being unable to come here due to being cash-less (this place doesn't accept card), I finally got a drink from here today: the Wish Special Fruit Tea, which came with orange slices and basil seeds. I liked the cold, tart taste of my drink and didn't expect there to be seeds in there, but realized that they were okay to consume and small enough to chew.

I felt impressed at how attentive the staff worker/cashier was to me. When I asked for the 2nd to lowest sugar level, she cautioned me that the drink would be more sour, so I opted for half the usual amount of sugar with the normal level of ice. I like being able to make these adjustments for the drinks at Mr. Wish.

After ordering, I didn't know whether to stand near the cash register for my drink, or to go inside the empty shopping mall space that Mr. Wish is inside, so it would have been helpful if the staff worker who took my order guided me/told me where to wait. When I come here again, the milk tea is next on my list of things to try.

  3. GET the mango and passionfruit babo!!!!!!!!!!

I also really liked the peach and mango babo. They're both fizzy and carbonated and have real mango cubes inside.

I tried their wish special fruit tea, it was nothing special.

You can also adjust sugar levels and amount of ice for certain drinks.

Get their stamp card! I came back 3 days in a row… There's no place to sit, so just order and leave!

  4. L likes bubble tea or fresh juice in general. So I had to bring him here to check it out especially with all the positive reviews. Fresh fruit with tea? We gotta get it. I didn't want one, but he wanted to try at least two, so we had the Colorful Fruit Tea and a Passionfruit Fiber Jelly Tea. $4.95 each is too pricey for what you get, it should be at least a dollar less.
The issue we have with Mr. Wish… Is that I WISH their drinks were really made from scratch.. L doesn't think the ingredients are all natural. Although they do use fresh fruit in the teas, it has a slight chemical taste in the background in the colorful fruit tea perhaps. I only had a sip of it and I didn't care for it. L said it tasted like a hint of Tang with pieces of fruit and the last time I've had Tang was probably when I was a lil kid. Im pretty old now… I don't like ingesting anything highly processed which is why I suggested this place in the first place, but perhaps not all their drinks are simply TEA with fruit.
The Passionfruit Fiber Jelly Tea tasted better, yet the passionfruit seeds left a really sour taste since the drink itself is not overly sweet. The jelly added a nice texture to the juice, but it's not very sweet. Also if you add ice to the drink, its basically watered down and pretty tasteless, however if there's not enough ice, like in our case, it's like drinking a lukewarm partially sweet tea? drink with pieces of bitter/sour seeds that really didn't quench my thirst. I'd rather get a bottle of filtered ice cold water. I didn't even want to finish it so L drank most of it. I mean, Im not about to throw away something that cost me $5 unless it was truly horrific. L drank all his Tang flavored tea and threw away the rest of the fruit that sat on the bottom. Did you expect him to suck it up through a straw?
The staff was giving away samples of tea which was quite warm… FYI, the sample tasted better than our drinks. On a sunny, hot day in June, people want to drink something cold and refreshing. I'd rather go to Shiny Tea instead, at least it tastes good and its cold!
