Mt. Fuji had such a homey feel to it. I was happy to be there. The lights were dim and host seemed to be expelling a ton of good energy. My sister, her friend, and I opted for hibachi. We got access to the buffet that had salad and a bunch of fried food: veggie rolls, tofu, sweet potato. It also had chicken wings (lol).

The hibachi chef was awesome. He didn't flick the veggies in our mouths like they do in every other hibachi place I've been to, and I was super grateful because it was a Sunday, and I was just not in the mood. I appreciated all of his other silly tricks though. The shrimp app was yummy, as well as the fried rice and lo mein. They also weren't greasy like I've experienced at other places. I had an abundance of scallops for my entree.. there were about 10 of them! (see pic!)

I had so much leftovers that I ate it for lunch & dinner the next day! I really enjoyed myself and def. recommend it!

Really enjoyed the place. Ate here with my mom, and I was seated with two other parties of 3, which they tend to do alot. Overall nice experience.

Had a family dinner here with enough people to take two tables. Everyone had a great time and most of the food was delicious.

The chef didn't have the best tricks I've seen but it was enough for the kids to really enjoy the experience. That and he did a good job as an actual chef.

Aside from the overly salty noodles (too much soy sauce) and the watery tasting soup (that had the weirdest tasting onions, kind of similar to a wet funyun) everything on my plate was great, and others agree.

The space didn't seem too crowded or too spread out and other than the outdated bathroom, it was charming.

Dessert was ice cream and green tea, great combo and wrap up to the meal.

Would recommend for large party's, not so much a one on one kind of place.

Please only go here in groups because that's how you get the most out of the fun hibachi-ing.

    Free apps bar, check.
    Funny and friendly chefs, check.
Wide variety of sushi menu aside from the hibachi menu, check.

There are a lot of Japanese restaurants in this area. We decided to check this place out thinking we wouldn't have to get hibachi, but we were told otherwise. It ended up working out with our family because our girls were mesmerized by the chef doing his magic tricks. We loved the fact that there was also a good sized buffet on the side, and that there was hardly no wait. However, if you don't like your food salty, be sure to tell the cook not to use too much soy sauce. Both our rice and meat were on the salty side. Three stars sound about right.

We come here for special occasions like anniversaries and new years eve and have never had problems. However this time around we were there close to 2 hours. Completely unacceptable, we've been in and out within an hour on a packed new years eve. It seemed like there was only one chef as they were a little busier than expected on a normal thursday evening. The food was great like always and it kind of made up for our longer than expected stay.I'll come back soon, but I hope the service is much more efficient.

Decided to try this place as my first hibachi experience after seeing the reviews here on Yelp. I'm glad I did. I took my wife here for our anniversary and wasn't too sure what to expect.

After you are seated and order your food, you can then head over to the salad bar to get a few appetizers. Nothing too special there, some dumplings and some other small bites. Keep in mind that unless you're part of a large group, you'll probably be seated with some strangers. It wasn't a big deal, as we all kept to ourselves.

Once the hibachi chef comes out, then it's showtime. Our chef, (named Ichiro, I believe), was great. He truly made it a show. From the flaming volcano to the egg slide, he made sure to keep us entertained. I had the Sukiyaki Steak, which is thinly sliced beef with teriyaki sauce, and it was great. My wife had the Sakura Salmon, and she loved it. Not only do you get your main dish that you order, you also get a ton of other food to go along with it during the hibachi experience. Fried rice, noodles, vegetables, soup, and a few other things.

I'd recommend anyone looking for an entertaining and tasty hibachi experience to come here.

We just celebrated my daughter's birthday here a couple of weeks ago. Overall, we had a fun time. This is definitely the kind of place I would only visit with a group of friends and family. I don't think I would want to be seated with strangers at the hibachi table. I'm just antisocial like that. lol. It was fun seeing my daughters' and niece's reaction to our chef's antics. The older folks (my parents and in-laws) also enjoyed it. The food itself was ok, but I guess that's expected since you are really there for the "show" the chef's put on. My only complaint was that we had a reservation for opening time yet still had to wait a good half hour for our chef to get to our table to start dinner. Other than that, we had a good time.
