Munch
“Their five alarm burger is my favorite and their munch sauce chicken wings are amazing.”
“Cool people working, quick service and split the wings half and half with two different sauces.”
“They need to create a place to wash your hands after diving into 10-20 wings haha but honestly I'm hoping they open up NEW locations in long island, queens, and the city.”

Halal with a huge variety of foods to choose from, will be back to sample some sandwiches next time and go through all the wings they have! Really enjoyed the buffalo wings we got, waffle fries were good-will get their garlic sauce next time since some reviews raved about it.
So good, we ordered twice on the first day we tried it! Ironically, I noticed Munch for the first time while I was working out on an elliptical machine across the street at Lucille Roberts. Don't judge me: after completing a grueling regimen and weeks of clean eating, a well deserved treat was in order. The burgers were phenomenal, and was the cheesesteak. I found what was offered here to far surpass the quality of typical halal burger shacks that I have found in Queens, and am pleasantly surprised to find Munch in Forest Hills, a neighborhood starved for halal options. Their hashtag fries were far better than their sweet potato fries, which I found soggy and would be unlikely to order again. The pizza, while far from being their strongest selection still hit the spot. We ordered jalapeno poppers, which were wonderful as well. The second time I ordered, they called me back to inform me that they were sold out, and then asked if I'd like to try a similar alternate option. I appreciated their effort in calling, and found that to be a benchmark of good customer service. I do hope that they continue to grow their menu and offer a more varied variety, for example a chicken cutlet or reuben sandwich of some type, but I am sure that they have plans to expand their menu in the near future. I will keep Munch in mind next time I have a cheat day and wish them lots of continued success.
I was craving wings and decided to try munch today. The garlic parmesean wings were great. It was crunch and the sauce was savory. They get three stars because they don't have a restroom for customers. I don't understand that at all.
Trying out the EAT 24 Delivery.
Nacho Libre Burger
Yee' Haw Burger
5 Alarm Burger
Shoestring Fries
Hashtag Fries
Sweet Potato Fries
I wanted to add an egg to my burger, they called and asked if I wanted to pay for it in Cash or Credit Card. Then she said she didn't know how much it would be so she went to ask someone. Generally it costs $1 or 2 but I was guessing $1 since the Royal Delight Burger was only $1.50 more with an egg AND Turkey Bacon. She came back and said $2.18. Seriously? You have no price for it and then decide to rip me off? Major minus points guys, not cool.
Another thing that was strange, they never asked how we wanted the beef burger. Dang, this means it's not a "true" burger place.
Ah! I forgot to order the Parm Garlic wings! – Next time… maybe…
We live 0.9 Miles from Munch.
2:04pm Ordered on Yelp/Eat24
2:38pm Order Confirmed via Phone
3:05pm Order Delivered
We unpack our order, I'm pretty excited due to the reviews on Munch.
Our Pepsi was a fountain drink… in a plastic bag. Considering it was delivered on a bike, it didn't spill much.
The burgers were actually pretty good! I liked that it was on a brioche bun, still a little toasted/crispy when it arrived. The fries were soggy, perhaps they should try to ventilate them by poking holes in the cover.
We were charged a $1 extra for Sweet Potato fries, it would have been nice if they actually gave us sweet potato fries. We got Hashtag fries instead – Disappointing. I called to have it credited back and the staff was all confused shouting in the background – which order? who did it? I don't know. what fries? what did they want? I see the order it says sweet potato. so what's the problem?. Then they get back on the phone, what is it that you want us to do now? They were polite but just like the previous phone call, no one had any idea what was going on.
I wanted to give Munch a solid 3 stars but with all the snafu's, I would have to say a high 2 Stars.
We ordered take out
1) Mac and Cheese bites
2) Wild Willd West burger combo with sweet potato fries (swiss cheese, green onion, lettuce, mushrooms)
3) Macho Sandwich (grilled turkey and chicken with lettuce, tomato, sliced onions, avocado, American cheese and mustard)
4) Monster burger (two patties with lettuce, tomates, onions, pickles, American cheese, and ketchup)
The mac and cheese bite were disappointing. It was fried, and I got more of the fried taste than a macc and cheese taste. The burger were like an upgraded Carl's Junior burger – don't get me wrong, Carl's Jr is one of my favorite chain burger places but that's the thing, their burgers were at the level of a fast food chain burger place. Instead of being cooked medium rre, they were cooked well done and on the dry side. They were a bit stingy with the burger dressings as well. The sweet potato fries were okay. The sandiwch was heavier than what I had anticipated but was okay. I think I would order sandiwches from here int he future, but definitnely not their burgers!
15 min. wait for burger and chicken wings late afternoon. Definitely worth it! Wings are more crispier and flavorful than Buffalo Wild Wings. The downside of Munch is the pricing menu- $1 extra for this and that. The menu is cumbersome to read.
