  1. To be quite honest, I think Murray's Bagels have been my favorite bagel shop by far. My favorite to get is the EVERYTHING BAGEL W/ NOVA SCOTIA SALMON SPREAD. I could eat it all day every day! Check it out! ENJOY!

PS: Go to the back counter to order, and pay at the front counter.

  2. Murray's Bagels is a decent bagel shop. Not the best customer service and not the best prices, but good enough if you're in the area looking for a bagel sandwich. Wish they'd toast the bagels too.

  3. This is my go-to spot for anything bagels in Union Square. Beware of long lines and waits on weekend between 10am-12pm!

  4. I want to like Murray's more but it's meh.  The sandwiches are decent.  The bagels were a bit too tough, both outside and inside, for my liking.   Price point is a bit high. Off the get-go, the staff aren't very friendly nor nice.  I've been here a few times and I get the same cashier who never seems particular thrilled to be at work.  The sandwiches are made to order but for a shop that specializes in sandwiches…the wait is a bit long.  Fortunately, there is an extensive collection of tasty beverages.

  5. Haha… so I found out that adding JUST cream cheese (even just the plain one) adds $2 to your $1 bagel order. Waaaaat?!

Either way, cream cheese is the way to go! It's made fresh, in house and ain't no Philadelphia's Best.

Murray's also has a bunch of tempting cream cheese varieties that I want to try. So that will be on my to-do list.

  6. My roommate and I were craving bagels for the longest time and decided to stop by here on a Sunday around 1pm. It was surprisingly packed with people. The line moved relatively fast for placing your order but felt like it was still a bit chaotic. The registers were freezing when we went to pay, and the wait time was a bit long for just getting a bagel with cream cheese. I had gotten a garlic bagel with scallion cream cheese. The bagel itself was hard and cold, but the cream cheese was good. Overall, okay but pricey.

  7. Once I get over the fact like an everything whole wheat bagel with scallion tofu spread and sliced tomatoes runs costs me about $7 at this place, only then I can admit that it certainly is the best bagel sandwich I've had. I've tried this combination elsewhere, not one place can compare. Of course the ingredients here are fresh but those bagels are simply bangin'

The ordering here is a little strange. Head to the back, order, DON'T pay, get a receipt, head to the front, hear out for your order number, THEN pay. Too many steps to order and get my food as soon as I walk into the door.

$7?!?!? I could probably get a much bigger meal for 7 bucks, I mean for 4 bucks more you can get Chipotle (ew) but as I scarf down my bagel, spectators glancing as I eat and walk to the train like a real New Yorker (with indigestion) I don't regret one penny. This sh*t is good. Feel free to try my combo.

  8. Huge fan of a good bagel with lox but getting the right bagel to complete the job is clutch, these bagels however didn't quite meet the role. They were a bit too hard and chewy for my liking, while I enjoyed it and didn't wasn't ready for my breakfast to end when it did, I'm not running back any time soon. Glad I had it once but onto the next!
