I reviewed this before on desktop, but it doesn't show anymore, so basically, it's just awesome. That's all you need to know as words do the experience of their delicious fresh perfect bagels no justice compared to just going.
No parking, street only. Very limited hours, they change with the owners' lives, they've nothing posted but from 3 years of living a block away, it seems like M-R 11a-5p, F 10a-2p, S closed (Chabbos), SU 10a-5p.
Look. If you're coming here for fine dining bagels you're in the wrong spot. If you want a true Brooklyn Jewish bagel (yes they are CLOSED on Saturdays) this is the place for you.
Want that tofu spread to go with your skinny latte? Move along!
Want a chewy crispy doughy bagel that's made on site and typically there is a wait and you're lucky to get any bagel!? (Yes sometimes you will have to settle for whatever is coming right out of the oven unless you don't mind waiting 20 minutes) then this is the place for you!
Dying for a gmo free wheat germ locally sourced honey wheat bagel scooped out with bacon (NO PORK!) egg whites and havarti cheese? Keep going!!!
I think you get my drift
This is THE best place for bagels. Hands down. Everything else. Get somewhere else. I actually drive specially to this store to pick up bagels. I will then hit up another store for fresh lox or other bagel garnishes. Try it out. You won't be disappointed!
Everything they make is uber fresh. Prices are comparable Andy eh staff is friendly. Just a heads up, they microwave their eggs. They ARE surprisingly good but be prepared for a new way of getting your eggs done.
