This food truck has been having their business at this spot more than 5 years as long as I know. They used to park on the north side on 47th Street, but now they are on the south side with a new and bigger truck. I go there after 1 pm, and there is always a line. However, it doesn't take that long time till your order is taken and the food is ready. When I started to be one of their customers, I was surprised how well the main vendor guy remember customers order.
My favorite here is chicken platter $8. As a Japanese, I love rice so I often go to Japanese restaurants and Asian restaurants around this area, but sometime I get bored of going to the same restaurants or I don't want to spend more than$10 for lunch. In that case, I eat rice from this vendor. Their rice is thicker and dry than Japanese rice and seasoned with something yellow. I don't know what kind of seasoning they use, but it tastes good.
The platter comes with salad, too. The grilled chicken smells good with charcoal aroma. You can choose if you add dressing for salad, white sauce or hot sauce on the top.
