  1. I was very happy when this bagel spot opened up down the block from my former job. In the spam of a few months, I've sample numerous sandwiches– bagels with cream cheese lox and onions; pastrami, egg and cheese breakfast special; and a Rueben sandwich. Expect for the breakfast as sandwich, sandwiches are quite expensive hence four stars instead if five. Otherwise, everything I've had here has been delicious!  I definitely recommend it.

  2. Not the best bagels I've had, but OK enough if you want a basic bagel and cream cheese. I imagine a good neighborhood spot to grab breakfast.

  3. So yesterday I thought I'd be all adventurous and try another new bagel shop.  ::sigh::  Sometimes its better to stick with what you know is good.

No complaints about the location, the decor or even the staff working.  The food was the disappointment here.

First up was the Chicken Cordon Bleu on a roll.  Good amount of chicken… even though I thought it was weird that they cut it into little strips rather than leaving it as a cutlet.  Nice pile of ham on top of the chicken and swiss melted over everything.  Sadly though the sandwich needed more honey mustard.  I think there was only one bite where I actually tasted it.

Also picked up a black and white cookie… in a word: EW!!  Do not order one of these cookies.  I've had such great b/w cookies at other bagel shops… not this one.  This b/w tasted chemically, ugh, I'd like my money back on this one please.

Also picked up a couple bagels for the morning.  Large.  Doughy.  All around nice bagel.

One star for the sandwich, one star for the bagels, and I guess one star for the establishment itself… like I said – no complaints there.  I'll give it another try again but I'm stay far away from that dessert case.

  4. I've only lived in nyc for about a year, so maybe I don't have the credentials to talk about bagels, but I thought that these were some of the best I've had so far in the city. They're big and round, yes, but all of the ones that I've tried have been dense and chewy, not fluffy and bready like a fast food bagel. Also, I only ever order the scallion, but the assortment of cream cheeses (including vegan tofu cream cheese) is impressive.

However, I haven't had much luck with the brownies and baked goods. They look so tempting, but the two that I've tried have been cakey and overly sweet. I'd also appreciate it if they stepped up their egg salad game.

  5. Pretty good bagels in the area and they deliver!!

I always get the everything bagel with bacon herb cream cheese. It's great and they put plenty of cream cheese on the bagel.

They also have a variety of baked goods -delicious brownies!

  6. I'm going to tell you something and you better take my word for it. This place is better than Bergen Bagels. BETTER. Walk a few streets and change your life for the better! Why wait in line for mediocre service and predictable products when you can come here and get something as simple as a bagel or as awesome as a custom deli sandwhich. All of the prices are really affordable and the space is big, clean, and welcoming.

I'm so glad this place exists and I'm even happier that the service is amazing! I ordered a bagel and an iced coffee one day and the guy working here took his time to make everything fresh and exactly as I wanted it. Superb!
