Nahm Thai Kitchen
“After attempting to get a table at Song, and being told there was at least a 45 minute wait we made our way down the avenue to Nahm.”
“I was a special fan of the appetizer of coconut curry soup and veggie gioza.”
“The prices were pretty reasonable, but I wish they would bring back the early bird special that seems to have been replaced by a more expensive four course special.”

solid thai food for dinner. I had red curry and spring rolls, can't recall what my boyfriend had, but it was also pretty good. curry was quite spicy but in a good way! would go back for sure.
My husband and I ordered from here the other night for dinner. We just weren't all that impressed. For starters, the clearly labeled vegetarian options were 6 varieties of steamed vegetables and rice or noodles. Wow, such options…..Ever thought of just making a vegetarian option of Thai favorites?
My husband ordered chicken spicy basil fried rice and was not impressed at all. I ordered the massaman curry, pretty much assuming that it was not vegetarian but hoping. My husband said his was fine, but wasn't anything special. I agreed on my order as well. It was boring and lacking in flavor. It's hard to believe you could make a curry boring, but it was. We also split the vegetarian spring rolls. They were just okay and truly had to be eaten with the sauce that came with it because they were also lacking in flavor and quite dry.
Overall, just a pretty lackluster meal. All was fine, but nothing special. I would recommend going to Song instead.
Every self respecting New Yorker loves Thai food. Whenever you're sick of Chinese food (which as a working New Yorker, you probably eat at least 2-3 times a week at a dingy place near your work that puts you into a food coma afterwards… with the other times being a halal cart with similar effect), and you want to "jazz it up a little", your thoughts often veer to Thai food.
So let me help out a little: if you're in the Park Slope area, and within the delivery/walking range, your thoughts should drift to Nahm Thai. For the record, this isn't specialty Thai like Pok Pok or Sriprapai. However, this IS good stock thai. The pineapple fried rice here is outrageous. The noodles, decent, as are the curries. The food feels somewhat healthier and lighter than most other thai places (which basically means I can finish one of their serving sizes and not hate myself afterwards).
Bottom line: this is my new favorite delivery/takeout thai in da hood. I'm a fan.
Good luck trying to eat here if you're a vegetarian. All the curries have a fish sauce and only one veggie soup.
Came here a few times and my family loves it. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks are delicious. The price are just right. The only thing I wished was that the portions were a little bigger. There is enough space for the children to walk around.
It really close from the park. Great spot to go for a date.
I came here last night for dinner with 3 adults and 1 child. We were seated in the rear. The waitress was unattentive and came off rude. I was with my niece who has severe nut and shrimp allergies and did not want to take any chances. When asked whether specific items on the menu contained nuts, she seemed to have no patience or understanding of our situation. She never came back to ask how the food was and was so hard to wave down. We had another server bring us our food, one of the entrees came out 10 or 15 minutes after the last one. The food itself was just mediocre. I will not be returning.
Another Thai food adventure; we had a goal to try every Thai restaurant in Park Slope and Brooklyn.
Location. Easy to find; decent street parking. Just watch your step into the restaurant; it's like 3 feet elevated off the ground. Almost fell on the way in and on the way out. 4/5
Food. Pretty on point; got the usual pad Thai beef/chicken. Nothing to write home about but the food was on par or better than a handful of other places I've tried. 4/5
Value. Lunch special for $9 gave you one appetizer and an entree; we got the salad for appetizer. If you check in on Yelp you get a free Thai iced tea ($3 value) — excellent for park slope. 5/5
Service. I mean we were the only ones there so I'd be disappointed if they weren't attentive to us right? Hah service was quite excellent! 5/5
Overall, not a bad place; I'd probably come again if the wait at Song is too long or or had to choose another place.
Three times we've ordered from here: once in the restaurant and twice for delivery.
All times we've been satisfied with the food, staff and speed. Everything was A-OK. We ordered the yellow curry with rice. It's standard thai curry, but that's good! Exactly what we're looking for!
