Nanni Ristorante
“From the valet parking to the Maitre De and the clientele, this was a higher scale experience than I was expecting !”
“The only downsides to me are that I was the youngest person there and the valet parks my Honda in the back (which may be a good thing).”
“We hardly get offered a menu anymore because manny knows just what to offer my family.”

Things I don't enjoy:
– cold hard tasteless bread.
– tough dry chicken
– pre-packaged breadstick bags
– not having fresh pepper
– paying $$$ for this meal
– hearing the grumpy waiter talk about us in Italian (yeap, I understood everything).
Nannis has been a go to for my family for years. My dad comes here every day for lunch with clients or just to visit Manny. We hardly get offered a menu anymore because manny knows just what to offer my family. Note: if you are into fishing, you can brig your freshly caught fish and the chef will cook up a different style dish each time to complement and not overpower the fresh flavor.
Pastas are good. The bread has seen better days. Wish they would up their caliber a bit when it comes to the bread. Always make a mean cocktail and the bar is a friendly place to hang and get to know people. The wines are plentiful and tasty. Nannis is always offering a plethora of specials which are always a go to.
If you're looking for an authentic feel, this is it. Waiters are dressed to the nines. Valet parking too!
Thanks Manny for arranging what turned out to be a great 80th birthday party for "Yiayia", my Mom! Choice of six entrees and assortment of apps on everyone's plate worked well, and your staff was always attentive! See you in 10 years for her 90th (and hopefully many times before).
Nanni's is a SOLID place for a great Italian meal, old-school style. As soon as you enter and see the throwback-type bar, you know. Old, fabricated-looking wood, Goodfella's-type decour and vibe – it's cool in a non-corny way.
The bar serves up great cocktails: my favorite, the Negroni, was done beautifully both glasses I had. The staff at Nanni's is also extremely nice and accommodating.
Food:
+Appetizer: Penne alla Vodka (small portion). It was done very well – the sauce was done excellent and the cheese was FLOWING.
+Entree: My father-in-law brought in his sea bass (freshly caught this past weekend) for Nanni's to take care of. This is where Nanni's excels – they cook your own fish to your own liking, and this time was a great example of that. Done almost perfectly, it was buttery soft and tasty in a nice broth.
Overall, always a great experience here with this crew. My favorite waiter is the guy with the handlebar mustache -just fantastic. If you've been here before, you know why…
