Always drive past this place, but never got a chance to try it until today. I now understand how this place has such high ratings on yelp.
Their customer service is phenomenal and super friendly! I love NY style pizza and anyone who has moved away from NY/NJ knows that no other place in the country can make it quite like NY/NJ. I got the plain single pizza slices here, which are large and just perfect in every single way (color, texture, taste, smell).
I also highly recommend the chocolate dipped cannoli, which is also perfection and not too sweet. Love this place & will definitely be back! Great place!
Natolis is a cross between an italian restaurant and a small supermarket. You can order food or pick up local groceries. Ive heard nothing but great things about their sandwhiches–which i plan on tryin next. Theres seating for you inside if you feel like eating what you order right away. Their pizza is fresh and tastes great. I loved their garlic knots too, and their gravy that you dip them in tasted good too. Some places taste like they use Preggo or some nasty stuff. The place is small, but cozy.
I came here a few weeks ago to try and nurse a couple of my hungover friends back to life. I got 1 chicken soup, a bacon, egg & cheese & pork roll, egg, & cheese. The breakfast sandwiches are made on rolls. I really enjoyed mine. It was filling, just what I needed, and I felt wonderful and revived after. Natoli's seems to have a lot of stuff, like a deli/convenience store combo. It also seems like there's a nice sense of community here, in that everyone seems to know each other and are friendly. I saw someone picking up these GIANT subs. Looks like it'd be a great place to get catering from. I have a feeling that their pizzas and italian dishes are amazing, so I'll have to go back sometime and try more.
The biggest bright spot for me was the customer service. The gentleman on the phone who took our order could not have been more pleasant and made completely sure he had the order correct. Once inside the shop, they referred to me by name numerous times and made sure we had everything that we needed.
Our order consisted of a hero sized Italian sandwich (w sweet peppers and pickles) and 2 round green pepper shooters. I found the menu a little confusing as it did not call out that they had an Italian, but they certainly did, as they said it was their special.
When unwrapped the sandwich looked amazing, but have to rate it as fair. The bread was the weakness here as you could tell it was reaching it's expiration by the way ends tasted. However, the ingredients were very good and we really enjoyed the sweet peppers as they brought out the flavor of the sandwich. The pepper shooters were delicious.
Natoli's is within 10 minutes from the sports complex, so it is a convenient option for supporting any tailgating needs. I would totally be up for visiting again. Enjoy!
If you live in Secuaucs you already know that Natoli's has the best pizza slice in town. Others will argue by naming Il Forno or Plaza Pizza, but Natoli's is special. It's a deli, pizzeria and small convenience store.
I went with two friends just to get 2 plain pizza slices and it was very delicious. We wanted to sit outside but it looked like there was a small kids party taking place. That's fine. We sat inside and enjoyed our time anyway.
I would implore you to come to this establish and have their pizza. It's delicious and worth it.
Based on the excellent reviews, I guess my expectations were too high. The food was excellent. The location is a bit odd though– a corner market that has tables in the middle of groceries. The bathroom is upstairs in what seems like an apartment or office for the owners/staff. And the water is in a cooler but they have to get it for you, which was confusing, since you get the ice first. I think. The prices are also on the higher side, comparable to a nice fancy Italian restaurant. But these are my only gripes.
We ordered the calamari — delicious. We got the chicken Parmesan over cheese ravioli — also amazing. And hubby tried the pizza and meatball sub — he was very happy.
You order first at the checkout counter, sit and wait, then pay after at the counter again. Everyone was super friendly and busy. It definitely doesn't have that restaurant or date night feel at all, but if you want great food or takeout, this is the place.
First time here, cute corner deli. Sign says they make fresh mozzarella daily. We ordered a margarita pizza and wings.
The pizza was really good with fresh mozzarella and marinara, but the wings were too sweet for me with no spice. The people who worked there were all really friendly and made us feel like locals.
Good food, even better service. I placed a fairly big group order and they had it to the hotel in around 40 minutes (after saying it would take an hour). The food was all good – the group had pizza, pasta, and wings between us – though you should definitely be prepared for a heavy amount of grease. It was great for a "veg out" meal after a long day of travel, but I probably would go elsewhere if I was trying to make an even remotely health-conscious choice.
